From people I know, kids who got accepted came from: SKH, Ling Nam, Victoria, Braemar Hill, St. Paul's Convent, Kentville, Hong Kong Pre-school, CCKG....

I have been reading this post and I would just like to clarify something. I totally understand the feeling of being put on waiting list and then hear rumors about this and that and trying to find a reason to justify it. But I have seen quite a few waiting list success cases in past years so don't give up so soon yet. When you get the call from the office, I am sure you won't have these hard feelings towards the school anymore.

I am a current SPCC parent and I have to tell you that of course there are a lot of rich families in the school, there are also many middle classes and financially challenged families. I personally know a lot of them and everyone interacts very well. There is no 白鴿眼 or show off from anyone. All the kids hang out together and help each other out. The school really teaches them to be humble and caring. So I do not agree with some of your point of view that the school tends to accept rich kids. There are many rich families' kids who cannot get in. From what I observe, the school likes to choose parents who are supportive to their child and the school, and also share the same vision with the school. Ms Lee also has a very good eye in picking out the kids. Most of my kid's classmates are really smart and their parents are dedicated, regardless of family background. Majority of them are from normal middle class families. My kid has classmates living in 蔣軍澳, Horizon Plaza etc.

I am also a SPCC alumni. I have many good friends whom I have made from 20+ years ago that are from middle class or not so rich families, and also from super rich families. Everyone still keeps in touch, hangs out, and our kids are now friends.
That's the most valuable thing about SPCC. The values that you learn from there is for life.

I think it is not fair to barely look at kids from Braemar Hill Nursery as "rich kids". You can't just label them as "rich" and therefore not to admit that the parents and the school have put efforts to teach them well.  It is a very good school and they have taught the kids to be polite, have respect for others, and the curriculum prepares the students well for going to all local schools.

Everyone got the right to express their feeling at BK, so don't worry.

SPCC accept my kid or not is the main issue at this moment.   God will give me the best choice.

Hope all our kids got in an ideal school at the end.

係呀，有時學校唔收真係唔代表小朋友唔叻，只係可能唔係佢地喜歡既類型，香港有咁多好學校，一定有一間適合自己既小朋友既。

睇翻spccps入spcc既學生, 主要都係英文好d, 其他科目唔算特別強, 而S1最差個幾個都 ...

唉, 每年總有d家長在面試名校失手後, 滿腔怨憤, 無處發洩, 跟住就有好多有關名校 "白鴿眼/ 跟紅頂白/ 貪慕權貴/ 不公平.........."等言論出現! 年年如是.
其實大家明白就得啦, 無需咁認真去拗, 俾機會d家長發洩下怨氣, 平衡下心理, 無所謂啦!!
至於話寶山多人入spcc, 有咩咁出奇呢! 以我觀察, 寶山d細路普遍都非常出眾, 才藝俱佳, 事先聲明,我d細路並非寶山出品!  但以我認識的寶山細路真係好叻, 當然佢地d父母都係叻人啦!  所以,邊恨得咁多.......

My girl is studying in SKH and we are definitely not rich nor professionals...
