啱啱睇到自行收生結果, 雖然知道競爭激烈, 機會渺茫, 但真係由睇到既一刻, 直到而家都好唔開心

我地又無直資offer, 唉!

After this game, a tip to you. My son is also from happy learning kindergarten and he is a small Aug kid. He is offered from two schools: No matter how remote and troublesome to apply, do apply more schools. It increases the choices you have. Even if you dont have offers at the moment, the chance to get from waiting list is also higher by this strategy.
This year, there are several good schools which has application date clashing the interview dates of two famous schools. The number of applicants of those schools was unfortunately low. If parents just ignore them due to messy day, they will lose the chances.
But I do agree with you there will be bridging problem between happy kindergarten and traditional primary school. I now take my boy to traditional tutorship (cheap one) to prepare for it.

I am in the same situation as you.....I also think of happy learning and let my son to stay in his KG but that is not suit the cruel game!!!

我比較好彩，阿細囡下年先報K1可以睇埋家姐入到邊一間再部署。

不過家姐到而家都未有著落，希望佢下一輪抽到 St Mary 啦

我都係大的今年報小一,細的今年報K1.

因為報任何學校都只得15分,不要說名校,只是區內好的學校,競爭都好大,所以我用了一個較穩陣的策略,報了自己的母校,母校有宗教背景,所以能以20分入到都算幸運!

雖然是入到一間不算差的學校,但阿女讀開愉快學習的幼稚園,又怕她不適應這種又谷又嚴的傳統學校...但如果不選呢間,又擔心大抽獎會派到好差的學校....有兩個小朋友,真係唔敢搏!!

好可惜唔係12網, 係34網, 網內雖然都有名校, 但都是很傳統的, 因為我個女中文水平唔好, 再加有d性格issue(好多野都好驚..), 太competitive既環境佢死梗, mps 頭3年唔駛考試, 我地相信佢會有d時間適應, 所以首選並無選區內的學校, 黎緊round2都仲諗緊, 有無advice? maryknoll聽講好傳統, 係嗎?

但其實今年即使選區內的學校34或12網勝算都唔係高, 當每間學位平均剩60個, 呢兩區內又何止600個同齡小朋友?1/10都無!  計分以為係最大機會, 點知都唔得, 之後機會其實仲小之又小...

Which district are you in? I am in HK side. WHen we submitted the form on last sat to st paul convent, it's really terrible, the queue was far longer than last year......... horrible!!!

I fully understand why you said that.  This was also my perception as well.  My husband & I were both from Government or aided schools and we both got admitted by universities without really paying to ...

RC係傳統中學，interviewer話要預左有唔少功課 (有BK家長話每日7-8樣，weekend多左剪報閱報之類)，所以相信比較適合可以坐定定，樂於做功課o既小朋友。

同我講自己o既情況差唔多，不過我唔知RC o既升中安排係點，係咪全部或大部份收番？如果係，佢俾你買個保證，自然就要放棄考外邊；你可以睇o下細路到時成積點再諗要保證定係要挑戰。

另外，要睇你個細路係邊類型，谷得同鍾意做功課就 ...
