今日見完啟思（牛津道），d問題好勺鑽

My kid was interviewed on 20th and got acceptance letter this week(a.m.). The questions in the interview were not as difficult as what had written here. The interviewer did not ask her name or age, which are typical questions in interviews. I was surprised that she ask who is Mickey in the picture. All the disney cartoons can be found in the picture. It seems that she cared if my kid had seen Disney before more than she knew the proper name of animals. She also did not ask me many questions, only ask me why I did not continue to study at the kindergarten (nursery). Quite simple as compared to other kindergartens.

我囡囡今年讀 K1am，上年interview嘅問題同你非常雷同。當時我都有同感，覺得呢間幼稚園問嘅問題比較深，但諗深一層老師都係睇個小朋友答到所以先問多啲。其實咁樣都好，證明老師會因應每個小朋友臨場反應。
我囡囡好鍾意返學，老師好有愛心，校車姨姨亦一樣咁細心！佢地每週都有不同嘅學習主題，教學同活動都配合學習主題而設。

my son had the interview 6/11 but we didn't get the offer letter on 8/11. I called upon the school office on 13/11 and the lady told me that they already issued the offer letter to us on 13/11.

我起初讓小朋友讀呢間幼稚園既時候...我同你一樣都存在呢個問題...我同太太帶囝囝面完試 , 我地就決定比佢係CPSKG讀 , 大家都冇再諗之後小學既問題..因為仲有漫長既學習生涯 , 我地希望小朋友開開心心咁過呢三年...慶幸我小朋友今年入左一間傳統小學...托賴暫時都冇問題...
其實...我覺得培養小朋友既求知精神係好重要..
CPSKG正正做到呢樣野.....希望你小朋友都好好享受呢三年快樂的校園生活:)

我囡囡都有am offer, 係我估不到的, 因為只是對答幾句, 囡囡就玩2種玩具, 我仲以為無的, 因為囡囡係9月細b, 我其實都 interview 好幾間, 有的好出名, 有的屬一般.
當我係啟思interview在等候室時, 我所見的玩具是較其他幾間有新鮮感, 因為那些玩具俾我的感覺係主力要思考, 囡囡好有喜趣去完成每一種玩具, 而我都對依間學校有莫名其妙的好感, 因為我選擇 in 啟思之前, 實在不太加以認識, 我有看四周的環境, 課室張貼的功課, 我感覺依間學校類似外國教學模式, 非常活學, 有別於傳統名校不停默書, 寫生字. 我本人其實好鍾意活學方式, 因為真的可以開發腦筋思維, 但又害怕難以承接小學課程。
大家有何看法呢?

Hi,

My son is also studying at K1 in this school, my understanding is as follow:

One Cantonese class teacher plus one Cantonese assistant teacher in the classroom for whole 3 hours, plus 1.5 hr NET and 1.5 hr PTH teacher everyday. So there are always 3 teachers in the classroom with 30 students in a class, with a teacher / student ratio of 1:10.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

我哋也很喜歡這所幼稚園，但小學实在太貴啦！以你經驗，多不多直資小學喜歡收啟幼學生呢？轉讀其它直資小學，容易適應嗎？

不過我好認同你既講法..系呢間幼稚園讀小朋友一定會好開心既!

i have the same question as mrs.hamster too... 1.5 hr of PTH and Eng each day.. then what does the Cantonese teacher do in the class? and i asked a teacher  on the interview day, she said the projects kids do in class are taught by the Cantonese teacher. so i think it's not really 1.5 hr for Eng and PTH in real situation.

however, i do love this school v much.. i won't care about the language thing.. just hope that my son will have a happy time there

I paid the registration fee today and the lady told me one hour of Eng, Pth and Cantonese each day.
