請推介有趣的書給5歲小孩

5歲小朋友不會主動看書. 我想如果有些有趣的書可能可以培養到他閱讀的興趣. 大家有否好介紹?

Where do you keep your books?  I put all the books at the living room.  1 big 3 small bookshelves . . .easier to get books than toys as toys are kept in drawers.

我成日行書局,但之前行開嗰兩間唔覺有呢套書,所以嗰日行商務見到就覺得好抵!呢兩日見周圍都有得賣,而且特價!
咁我希望佢變黃前,阿女會拎起來睇啦~~^^"

培養小朋友閱讀興趣真是一項漫長又艱苦的作戰.  你先前給我的見意, 我都盡量有空就給她們伴讀. 不過我這個全職媽咪時間真的不多. 而且兩個小朋友太喜歡玩, 對書本暫時都興趣不大, 每次都好像我在強迫她們看書一樣. 不過我還是堅持要她們每天都要讀一些書. 我買了多套oxford reading tree給她們, 由stage 2睇起. 其實成效很顯著, 有很多基本生字她們都能認讀, 而且越睇越快. 不過真的很遺憾, 她們自發性太低. 其實她們巳有能認讀的書, 可以一睇再睇. 但她們反而會說這本書我巳懂看, 不看了. 有時知道某家長的小朋友是愛書的小朋友, 真令我羨慕不巳.

另一方面, 我在想是不是時候把她們的玩具收起. 家裡有很多公仔, 她們一起床就會跟它們玩, 不願放手. 是太多玩具令她們對書本失去興趣吧! 但我先生又不贊成我把玩具全部收起. 說小朋友始終要有玩具作伴. 所以想請你給我一點點見意, 謝謝!

Hi All,

I've always wanted to read the Harry Potter books, so as to understand why the story attracts so many young readers.    My little girl, age 8, had read through the Harry Potter books and still going back to her favorite chapters, revisit them again and again.   After watching the movies, which may not be a true representation of the original story, I still can't find the attractive elements ?!   Actually my little said she likes the books way better.

Are there any parents, who had finished the books, be kind enough to share their thoughts about why the kids love it so much ?

不要以為我長篇大論,扮晒野,兒子小小事便扮晒恩慰.
我只想share 我的一点点,我知道培養閱讀興趣的重要,
但我個人並不喜歡看書,連老夫子也不喜歡,也要看上一個小時.我為大兒選書,只會選名著 or 看書後簡介.

If sharing 的書,一般都會選較薄一点的(約100多-200多頁),If I read first, I will 借了1-2 week first due to I need to go to work, not so many times and I read so slow,even if he is only need one days or some hrs can finished.

If he read first, I will ask him to let me have an idea first. Then I read. We will discuss or share after read or sometimes we face something 的情境或人與某本一同看過的書相似. 那感覺好像一同看一套戲. But this case just within 10 books/year. But such enough and he feel it is a support.

他現在還是小學,我還能勉強應付,所以要在小學時/前 build up 此興趣. Otherwise, 中學青春期,反叛期就更難handle.所以當他看完了Harry potter in earily primary 我是非常恩慰. 要我看完是很有難度的.

P.S. : Now he have already finished the Harry potter the last book in Chinese version. I know so many children can read the Harry potter in P.5 for English version.  But for me, I think he is great!!

剛很辛苦的寫了一大篇,卻 cant save and lost it.

Anyway, 現簡短的 re-wite again.  真不敢斑門弄斧,只想作出小小的分享 :

我有2個兒子,大兒子P.5 now, 小兒子K3 now. 2人皆喜歡看書.大兒於P.1 to P.2 or P.2 to P.3 summer holiday 巳看完了中文版的哈利波特. (此可能不是什麽大不了的事,但對我來說,卻是意料不到,且非常恩慰. And maybe he is the fans of Harry potter when he still in kindergarten.  He already review the DVD of Harry potter over 50-60 times.)
另 as record (學校join 了 public libary 青少年閱讀計劃 : P.1 - 30本, last year P.4 - 250 本/year due to last summer 豬流感,more time for reading. Actually he shoud be more, at least over 300. 但他懶得record so many(but mainly Chinese. Now more English book, hope he is improving for English).  But this Nr just let me know he is already bulid up the 閱讀興趣.  It is also 消閒方法之一 due to the busy homework and 很多的課外活動, he still prefer to spare the time to enjoy reading.  It make me happy.

Now, let me sharing as the following :
1. As so many 家長,從小帶他到書局和圖書館.
2. All the film or their favourite cartoon, we have seen with the child and we will try to buy a book of this film (mainly in chinese version during english verion is quite complicated)   which they must very intresting during they have already have idea for the film and review with us. 他們真是百看不厭,有時更會主動與其他小朋友分享故事內容. If we have the DVD, 就更好.

2. CD 伴讀故事, 可以替小朋友製造個別自行閱讀澴境,卻不會因不明白內容或某些深字而失去興趣.

3. 形造氣氛 : When my elder son in kindergarten, school have a plan for encourage the child for 朗讀 simple book such as  :青苗出版書 or simple english book for the relative. Each time finish and ask them to sign a name. Max 20 times/week.  So, the child 鬥多簽名,所以讀上10多-20次也樂此不疲.自然認字量和信心都大增.

現在,我卻換湯不換藥的叫小兒子讀給他的玩具好朋友聽 : purple bear, monkey,etc 他有很多致愛,随時讀上10次8次/day (Sometimes, I stop him during to so much.)他也是樂此不疲. 但此招只適用於較細的小朋友,否則他們會說:媽媽,玩具是沒有生命的! But it is work for my youger son.

At last : 以書作獎勵,我也贊同.
但選書方面.一定要他們intresting. Otherwise, meaningless.

另選書(借書) : If 6 books, they choose 2 and I choose 4 for them. If elder son, he choose 3 which can including 漫畫 and balance I choose or mainly for I suggested. Sometimes, we will read the same book : he read first and I read later or I read first and tell him the story 大網 and highly recommend him to read.
After we all read, we will discuss or share something of the same book which can make us closer (共鳴感).

Younger son : I will encourage elder son to read with him for simple book.

But I believe the younger boy like to copy the elder boy even if good and bad.  So, it is quite important to use this advantage.

前幾個星期响圖書館借了Roald Dahl 的 The enormous crocodile. 起初佢見到入面咁多字, 都好似冇咩興趣睇, 放左响屋企一個星期, 就算係伴讀, 佢都唔會自動攞依本書比我. 我續借左一次, 諗住再試下, 如果佢仍然唔鍾意睇, 我就算. 一晚, 我主動話不如睇左依本書先, 佢話好多字, 我話唔緊要啦, 我讀比你聽啦 ..... 讀左一大半, 因為要瞓教, 我就話留番第二日先講, 但係第二日我又忘記左同佢繼續睇依本書. 點知隔左幾日, 佢自己睇晒成本書. 佢仲要話佢真係明白, 工人姐姐亦都話佢真係睇晒. 我好開心呀 ..

唔知 Rald Dahl 的書, 除左 The enormous corocodile 之外, 仲有邊本係冇咁深, 可以適合我地伴讀比五歲的小朋友聽呢 ?

睇你想小朋友響"去圖書館借書"呢件事上有咩得著啦。
想佢學埋自主,尊重佢嘅選擇權都幾好丫~每次借6本裡面,俾佢揀一中一英,其他你幫佢揀咪得囉~
佢唔識時,親子伴讀幫佢讀埋囉~
但我就要利用有限嘅時間,訓練佢獨立閱讀嘅能力,所以一定要揀啱佢程度嘅書~
偶而好得閑就一齊讀D深少少嘅,對佢嚟講都幾新鮮架!

平時去圖書館借書, 通常都係我幫小女揀適合佢程度的書, 前兩日我要返工, 老公放假, 老公帶佢去圖書館, 小女自己揀書, 佢本身英文好過中文, 所謂好過, 係中文同英文相比, 而唔係話好叻果隻, 中文佢揀左好深, 好多字果d, 英文就揀左好淺果d...我一睇到, 心諗 ..有冇搞錯 ..中文太深, 英文又太淺 ...

但係, 小女當晚又好似好開心, 佢攞起其中一本中文書扮睇, 我知佢冇可能識睇, 佢只係响度睇公仔, 但係就睇到好似好enjoy 咁, 仲不斷話佢真係識睇 (好肯定佢係講大話)

問題係 .... 我應唔應該開始放手比佢自己揀書呢 ? 因為我見到佢好似好enjoy 自己挑選返黎的圖書, 雖然係睇唔明 ...

小朋友大多喜歡伴讀，正如大人睇戲都想多個伴侶，純屬感覺行先。除了小部份天生愛書外，要培養出開閱讀興趣路途實在漫長，我兒子四歲時我才醒覺要培養他閱讀的興趣，幾經艱苦作戰，幸好亦算戰略成功。雖然他已十歲，可以自行閱讀，但也會間中喜歡和我分享書中內容，要求親子閱讀。
  除了到圖書館借書外，我亦十分贊同買書作獎勵。因為我家小朋友很多時都有重讀故事書的習慣，甚至有寫作時會參考他印象中書提及的資料。故此每有書展，例必出現。

睇得出palmchristy真是個很有耐性，很用心的家長，值得大家學習。

可以考慮用上樓梯的方法, 一步一步達到目標.
如果伴讀是起步點, 孩子自己讀是樓梯頂. 要一步上樓梯頂當然是有難度. 可以試試把當中的過程拆成多個小目標, 每天持續去做, 每一日陪孩子看一本程度合適的圖書.
例如:

多謝palmchristy提議的方法及rainy0429的推介. 其實囡囡中英文每頁有3-4行的書,她已能認到大概一半字, 但她就是不喜歡自己看. 這可能與她性格沒耐性也有關.

如樓上有D媽媽話齋,可以比小朋友自己揀書,當佢有咗自己喜歡嘅系列,再吊高嚟賣,呢招好ok架!
我好享受同阿女一齊親子 ...
