Different parents adhere to different values and would surely have different ways to bring up their kids. To me, lying is not an option at all. Lying is not an offence in many other cases but it is totally unacceptable.
No one ever mentioned in their posts that those listed in your (2) are welcome.

2) Then how about breaking or violating the principles of values, such as justice, discriminations, pride, prejudices, equal opportunities..independent thinking etc.......then these are not good examples that we should uphold for our kids
