遲來的York reply!

我個情況同標題啱啱相反。

我5/11 interview，老師話大約2-3個禮拜會有書面通知結果。點知13/11就收到offer letter，嚇親添!!

18/11就交留位費，仲有D心大心細~~不過York嘅硬件真係無得彈嘅!!

呢間學校就係咁架啦,成日錯又亂,因為佢請哂d細路女無嘜經驗來做,人工可能平d掛,其實都係管理層問題同政策問題,時時令到我地家長唔開心,成日制做問題.

Same as you. My gal is small B ; applied int'l stream, offered with a.m. bilingual multiple intelligence.

Anyone can advise if the class will be in the new campus or old campus ? Is there any difference between bilingual multiple intelligence class and the local stream in the York Anglo Chinese Kinder ? Does it mean my gal does need to sit for interview on coming Fri at the York Anglo Chin. Kinder ?

They only allow us with short time (till Nov 4) for making up the decision. But most probably, I may not pay as there are few more interviews coming up .......

My girl, 0811 small b,applied in  INT'L stream . but got accepted in blingual multiple intelligence am class(多元智能雙語班).  I'm NOT going to pay them the 660hkd becuase after hearing alot of bad and negative news about this school. I called the school before and asked them about their debuntures, but they never answer my questions clearly. They either say i dont know or i'm not sure.  I feel that their real target is to make money instead of providing a good and loving exvironment for the children.  So I decided not to let them"eat" my 660hkd.  My girl already got accepted by creative. and still have a few other interviews to go to this month.  I rather choose other schools then this one.

It is a really funny joke wor.... anyway, you may pay it for back-up.... is it international stream or mainstream ?

But I did not mention that I would be also willing for mainstream .... since I already applied for it at a separate application with HK$ 30 being paid :(

我今日都收到信啦, 呀囡係waiting list, 佢係細囡,我都覺得佢當日表現ok, 但都無offer, 連主流班都無.

For the local stream, I also applied in 6/2010 (same date as int'l stream).

But they did send me a receipt for my application of local stream....with no interview letter for long, i called them & advised the interview was to be held later, maybe in Dec.  But finally they lost my application so the interview is to be held on coming Fri. I am afraid they have already given out all offers to kids.... it is unfair to us. What a mess they did.

There are few more interviews coming up this month.... I hope my gal can perform well and finally we can choose with offers and pick up the one we like best.

York basically has given me a very bad impression. At the beginning, I thought I will go for the interview as a back up.

The school told me their int'l stream is much better than main stream. That's why I have applied. But then when int'l was not able to issue the result after 3 weeks, they have asked me to go for the main stream.

I asked why do they need such a long time to process the application. They said the principle needed to read each application one by one.

Even now they have accepted my son, no matter what, I will not put him in the school.

Too commercial, money-minded.

If you have noticed, in their introductory talk, they even have spelled their own address wrongly on the 1st page of their powerpoint!

With this kind of quality, I have a lot of doubt.

Furthermore, last year, they have lost my elder son's application without explanation.

Please re-think for those who are going to pay!

Just my own opinion.

我就問佢,點解我冇信,佢話可能太多申請,仲未安排到!!
你可以打去問下個result先啦!
*面試當日,表現正常架,所有問題答哂,係冇咩笑容....(大仔),所以都唔知面試準則

I called Miss Fung this morning regarding the Reg. Fee and other class arrangement matters. All the answers are unknown and not sure. They just give me a feel that they are targeting on the $660 Reg. Fee because no matter I asked, she asked me to give the $660 first.

Originally, I think I will deposit first for paying safe. After the call, I really think that they are really targeting on money only!!!!!!!!

Quite disappointed from all the calls from York!
