the school's arrangement is really clumsy and not considerable..

I have just received the letter yesterday and it of course clash with other school's interview and I called to see if they have flexibility to change the schedule? Their attitudes are: We are full, you can call other school to change??? How can I call to change the schedule if other's have already sent me the letter two weeks ago?

I was really diapointed!! Fine, I give up with no regret!!

I received interview letter on the same date after my kid finished it.  So, still room for improvement in administration.  But I like this school, in respect of its location and cirriculum and teachers.

I fully understand your frustration about the interview arrangement. The fact or the reality is that LMC offers only one day for interview. There are ~750 applications. If LMC allows parents to change their interview times as whenever they want...Do you think it is a "simple arrangement'?

As what other parents said, it is the time for making decision if you don't think LMC interview is not important than the others. If you do think LMC is your top school, you can also give up the interviews of other schools, right?

By the way, there will be a second phase in May next year. If you want, you can apply LMC again.

Again, I wish you and your kid good luck in other school interviews.

I am not denying that you have such a happy experience. What I have said is that what I have expreience in the interview arrangement is such a "rigid" and incompent administration.   

We experienced differently. You need to respect that and that is the "realities" and "facts" of my experience.

What I have experienced is that the school administration is very "rude" and "evasive" and very incompentent to deal with the issue, which is a very simple arrangement.

今次學校寄信確實係遲左, 不過唔緊要啦, 反而你地交表時都知道interview 時間係9號, 呢一個事實唔會改變, 只係希望時間上可以遷就到另外一間, 與其現在你地可以下定決心去第二間interview, 咪早d 決定, 反正到最後, 都係要揀嘛.
將心比心, 你要另一間小學改時間都唔可以呢, lmc 都唔會啊, 係咪 ?!

Did you ask the other schools to be "considerate" to change their interview time? If other schools are also inconsiderate, LMC is just doing the same thing as other schools do.

As JackyBaBa said, LMC is not your cup of tea, it may be good you make your choice in this stage.

The title might not relative to school arrangement.
It's related to personal decision making.
Since the school do not know your own choose before setup this interview schedule.
The appointment schedule interference with others is always happen and inevitable, I think it's not happened only on your child, but also happened to other parents.

Every schools have their own policy, it might not the responsiblity for one school to reschedule the their appointment, so suit your appointment with another school. As one of parents early said," it had better for you to make your own decision before this long competition."

I think it should be fair to applicant, fair to school. The main concern is not the letter arrival time early or late, it's depend your own personal decision making.
I think you have already set up your own priority of school selection, right? LMC might not be your cup of tea, if it is, you still need make your decision finally by sacrifice others.

I agree.  The application deadline and interview date is too near.  But we all know that the interview was fixed on 9 Oct as early as late Aug.  And most schools are reluctant to change their interview time.  So, we the parents need to bear with it.  This is how the education system works in HK. So sad !
