According to my experience on 2005, my elder son KV interview. A or B means 2 group, 左右門排隊, 分流. But I don't know how they separated by 2 groups exactly. (by which month born or not?)

I believe it depends on which type of primary schools. If the primary school you target also emphasize on more homeworks and dictation, then KV would be more suitable. However, not all primary schools are like this nowadays!
