i knew 1 girl got accepted from DGJS in 2010. she was KV student. her mother told me that KV has few students got accepted too, also Victoria. Seem...no from St Cat.

With so many girls applying, it's logical to screen out only those with both fortune and fame for the second interview (you really can't judge the kids by their performance within such a short time in the first interview) ... and the meat comes in the second interview to select those that are truly capable and smart. So the bottom line is you and your kid need to achieve all aspects ... fortune, fame, intelligence, etc.

Let's be realistic, what kind of school wounldn't want that when they have the choice!!

At K3, both SC and CCKG only provide AM class, it is impossible studying these 2 schools at the same time. Hope CCKG parent can share more this year.

1)If we should not mention all the activities. Can we include a "resume" page of the girl with her past achievement and public performances.

2) what should we put if she has references for famous choir, Hong Kong speech festival certificates (but didn't win 1,2,3), current School language & Maths awards

3) what about photos of activities or travel

Per my understanding, more than 2 KV girls got admitted last year.

I read your post last year September, and in that post you mentioned you would write something similar for DBS, and told us to reply you should we needed it.  Then I replied to the post requesting your analysis last year but have never received your reply.  So do you still have it written for DBS?  If so, could you please post another thread about DBS (surely many parents would be interested in it) or if you prefer, please leave me a PM.

Thanks for your info.

I have got some questions.

(1) Why SC has such a high success rate?

(2) My husband is a full time dad taking care of the kids. And I am a medical professional. Is there any chance? Does Mrs Dai prefer this structure?

(3) I thought Yam Tat Wah's daughter also got admitted to DGJS? Ah B's one got admitted to SPCCPS?

(4) Is Mrs Dai going to interview for the 1st round? How many pupils together?
