循小成績好可以考其他名英中；成績普通又可直升循中。進可攻、退可守。

我個姪仔今年剛剛小六升中一, 佢屬於band one學生, 佢小學係油尖旺區一間唔錯嘅小學, 佢地學校有個中學banding list比佢地參考, 循中係屬於band one的...

For P6 to F1, both nets 34 and 41 will be in Kowloon City Net, they are the same.  Net 35 is in the same net too.

For F1 places, half of them will go to the discretionary stage where a person can apply directly to ANY two schools regardless of location.  In the second phase, some school names will be in more than two school nets, e.g. the Maryknoll you mentioned will also be in Wong Tai Sin net too, though number the places is fewer.  These explain why students in other nets can enter too.
