Getting into international school (Grade 1)

Is there anything that parents can do so as to increase the chances?

Have heard that one of the ESF last year got 140 Category 1 applications but it just has 120 seats. ... chances seems really low for kids who are not even in Category 2 .....

Then which ones are less competitive but not too bad?

It depends on which school you want to go to.  But English proficiency is the utmost important thing.

It depends on which school you want to go to.  But English proficiency is the utmost important thing.
