You don't have to worry too much. As long as they don't "hate", it's ok. You already have the habit of reading with her, I think soon she will find reading interesting.

Make sure that the books are all very accessible and she can get one to flip or read whenever she wants.  It will help.

You can read a line and ask her to try to read another line. Get something easy to start with.  She will then gain confidence and move on.

Also, St Paul has Reading Class and they encourage students to do more readings both in school and at home.  If the kids see others read, they will try.  My girl just started with books with only one line or two lines on each page in P.1

我個囡仲未肯自己去睇書, 唔知佢係咪仲細自己睇唔明所以無興趣, 定係佢本身無興趣睇書
