Tutor Time nursey Ok 嗎?

Tutor time 得晤得? For 國際學校? Or K2時轉軑入 傳統學校又可以嗎? 我唔想小朋友滿口英文但文盲..(Can't read , Can't write)

Anyone can give some advice.

I highly recommend this school though I asked myself the same questions you ask now. My girl had been with Tutor Time Tai Tam since playgroup until K2 when she got offers from international primary schools.  She enjoyed TT very much.  I like the school coz the class is small, the teachers in the whole school know your children well, they teach the same theme in English and Manadrin (my daughter had no problem in communicating both English and Mandarin), spacious campus.  Kids there are all happy and enjoyed the school.  Chinese and writing may not be much in K2 and below because of the well known educational theory that kids develops writing after kindergarten age.  They do teach phonics.  More writing, especially in Chinese, is introduced in K3 but most of the children leaave after K2 for international primary schools if not leave earlier for local primary schools.  Teaching in both Chinese and English keep options for local schools and international schools open.  Of course, no doubt they are expensive.

We have never been to the 6-12 months playgroup.  We started at TT when my son was almost 1 years old and they put him in the 1-year class.  Morning classes are usually better.  The quality of class also depends on which teacher you get.

One thing is true.. they have a lot of free play.  If you want things to keep your child busy throughout the group, you should try Kindermusik or Gym.

BBs cry, teacher sing, toys not very clean, 老師叫bb摸下水中嘅玩具，果d係污水.. 茶點同free play 並不是整體課程之一，mamas 自己傾，工人jeijei自己傾.. 茶點餅乾大，有個bb嘔。3 首eng songs， 之後自己同自己BB玩，我自己同BB講英文。 雖然我已經同姐姐反應，但係都覺得有d哂錢，可能我之前同bb上果d playgroup好少bb上, 加上依班係6-12ms bb playgroup , 唔可以expect too much. 唉，錢又交左，8月bb去1yrs old playgroup, 睇吓會唔會好d. 又或者Nursey 班好好多。 遲d 可能join anfield when she is ready.

My son is now studying in Dorset Campus pm nursery class. I think teachers are very caring. Children use English to communicate during their play time. In the Mandarin session, if they use English, teacher will ask them to use Mandarin.
My son is a small boy, just studied in Tutortime for 6 months, he is able to understand Mandarin and use Mandarin phrases. He can use English to communicate quite fluently.

May I ask if Yew Chung's 3.5 PTH lessons teach Chi in simplied or complicated form?

Also, do you mind PM me your private tutor's contact.  I want to find one for my girl too.

To all:
My girl also enjoys TT's PN very much.  But same as other schools, there are classes I think with better teachers, so I suggest you do go beforehand to watch the viewcam and watch how the teachers interact with the children before you put your child in.  Of course, this is assuming that there's still space available your preferred teachers' class.  

My girl picked up a lot of daily English terms from TT.  As for PTH, I bet we didn't speak to her as much, so she doesn't initiate to talk much but she can under most of our instructions in PTH.

english.  The children talk to me in English too when i drop him off and pick him up.

But I have also put him in private mandarin tutoring and later in Yew chung's saturday chinese class, because Yew Chung teaches read-to-print skills, layman term... chinese character reading and writing.

My son loves TT.  My original plan was to switch him from TT PG to Anfield nursery this year, but my mom said since we will put him in ESF kindy anyways, it's best not to switch him around so much.. ...

Thanks lottieclee and hollymamaa for the sharing.  Originally, I would like to put my son in a local nursary.  But then realise that he quite enjoys the PG of TT and think that it will be good for him to start going to school on his own at TT.  So, I deferred the starting time of the local nursary a bit further (my boy is a big boy).  I am going to put my son in a local school so I will just let him study at TT nursary for several months.  Hope that he can enjoy the school life and have a smooth transition to local school.  The 5-day nursary class of TT is too expensive so I pick the 3-day one though only PM class available.

TT nursery is good.. my son enjoys it so much. His discipline is ok as he follows all the routine at school: remove shoes, go in the classroom, put his handbook and bottle on the basket, open drawer and get his indoor shoe, then wash hands..  And except english, he Learns quite a lot mandarin from school..

But as lottieclee  said, I think the school fee is quit expensive...

Nursery is ok... but cannot tell you much about kindergarten.  I personally thinks it's too expensive, given it doesn't have a primary. The good thing is that they have 1/2 time mandarin.
