I guess they are using "character recognition" technique, so the human error could be kept to minimal.  So far I know,...  this technology is quite mature, and we don't have to worry too much !  Just receive the luck from the God.

I have checked with the staff in EDB, central allocation application is still available.  Jan 23 & 24 is not the deadline.

Why don't they prepare some computers in the centre and let us key in directly as an option...... For those computer nervous, they can still allow them to submit by paper...  I think it is the trend... at least, we don't need to afraid the human error, I prefer to take my own risk instead of others...

其實連第一輪,交表入去學校, 學方漏了你一張與否,都係冇人知.  都係信佢冇漏架咋. 因為又唔係一定要玩第一輪, 政府又冇寄信問你,係唔係冇玩第一輪, 所以都係...天意....弄人.

咁遲先出結果嘅原因係想「製造既定事實」，希望派得唔好嘅家長無時間再週圍撲，令玩音樂椅嘅時間縮短，減少對學校嘅影响。

理由好簡單, 因為學位分配小組d人成年都要返工 (當然一至五), 返工冇嘢做又點得呢?

What does take long time when it comes to the government?  

I guess it an attempt to lessen the disruption to schools and kids - just imagine results were announced in April - knocking on doors would start then, again in June when final K results are given and in September just before start of school season.   And, off course any time in between!!!
