SJS Y1 results

My son is in K2 at ESF kinder.  Unfortunately, he has been placed on the waitlist of SJS   Any mom can share your experience about this situation?

Have your child done the interview yet? So early? And did you know the result right away? I think we won't know until after CNY?

I understand what you feel.  We had the same experience last year and almost all of the Cat 2 kids were on the waiting list at that time.  Don’t worry, you will get a seat in one of the ESF Primary Schools finally, although the location may not suit you.

If I were you, I would surely pay the deposit to secure a place in RC.  You don't know your position in the queue and don't forget they over-interviewed around 25% of available places.

My child got RC offer and I just wonder should I pay the deposit for RC and wait for SJS, or take the risk to reject RC offer and wait for SJS!  My first choice is SJS!

Is your kid on the Waiting list already? or you got a phone call from them on Monday? If you are already on the waiting list, then I think the chance is good.  If you have got the letter from SJS asking if you want to be put on the wait list, then it means that if they will offer second round interview, then your kid will have to be re-interviewed again before a place will be offered.

Did SJS mention that what is the reason of your child can't get the offer? BTW, have you apply the other ESF school?
