I suppose that your father needs to believe in Chinese medicine for the treatments to work. And it is a long process so he needs to believe in its worthiness.  

Anyway, take care of yourself as this is going to be a long process to fight the illness together.

Veronna 呢個方法我有一次搭巴士時, 聽到隔離既乘客講過, 好似叫做”地藏經”, 話說有個婆婆對腳唔係幾行得, 於是乎跟書既方法, 每朝4點半去公園赤腳行1個鐘, 行咗半年後真係不藥而愈, 理論係d風濕係大自然嚟, 就比佢係大自然走… 我相信呢個方法係work 既…

不過爸爸而家手腳冇力, 連飲茶都冇去啦, 所以好多方式都未必用到…

不如真係試下中藥啦. 我知世伯唔係咁bind中醫, 不過既然依家西醫幫唔到, 都要試下其他方法架啦. 而且中藥既副作用冇咁大. 自然療法都係一個幾好既輔助. 我記得有個姊妹之前cancer, 佢每朝早都去公園行草地. 好似天 ...

CCM, just thinking of you these few days.  Thank for your advice !  My father had consulted Chinese Herbal for almost 2 months, he felt no improvement and gave up the treatment.  Indeed, we had tried to convinced my father to accept some methods like 自然療法but my father has his own strong belief and refused.  He also claimed that the doctor reminded him don’t take Chinese medicine and other special treatments during the chemo.  

For the eating habits, he told me that he was coughing so serious after having vegetables since it is too 寒涼.  However, he is willing to try the “soup” which suggested by his friends.
