Anfield Kowloon Tong School Bus

Dear parents,
Are there any school bus services for Anfield International Kindergarten (Kowloon Tong)?  We have just recieved a letter from Anfield today saying that they have reserved a place (K1) for our little one.  I tried to contact the school today but no one is answering the phone, guess they are all on holiday.  
Can anyone give me a contact number for the school bus for Anfield?

If i were you, i would have kept fighting for the $$$ for that day he didn't show up by mysterious reason(s). I suppose it is not school policy and this is your right, right?
If u don't fight for it, he will take it for grant.

1st of all, I was willing to pay for the expensive charge as I though it will be better as it's the school bus of that particular school where it shall be better than those outsider bus.

I was 100% wrong.

I didn't get a call for time confirmation of picking up my kid till the day before the playgroup was started. I called this Mr Chiu 3 times every week 3 weeks before the term was opened. He kept telling me that he haven't plan the route. Then, till the day before my kid went to school (7:00pm), he couldn't confirm the time for me. I called him more than 10 times. He didn't pick the phone. Finally, he picked up the phone after XXX times of redial. What kind of service was that???

Then, there was a field trip that all playgroups would not be back till 11:30am. Normally, the playgroup ended at 10:30am. Mr. Chiu told me that he couldn't send my kid home that day because he needed to rush for picking up those 12:30 kinder students and said it's the policy. I called the admin office. They said that is the policy. But, I paid the school bus fares. Then, my kid ended up with taxi home. They have more than one bus and each bus just have 3-4 kids. Couldn't they do some arrangement on that?

Recently one day, my kid waited the school bus as usual. But, the bus didn't show up later than regular time, i called Mr. Chiu and asked where he was. He told me that he received a call from a mum who told him that kid was fever, no need to pick up. I was shocked because i didn't call him that morning. Then, my kid ended up taxi to school again. The worst thing was he didn't give me an acceptable reason at all. I asked him to check the number of the mum who called him. He got back to me that it was a miscommunication.

Can you imagine this is the service that you got for such expensive charge???

Apart from those, I went to school with my kid myself by the Anfield school bus. I was so worry and regrect that I put my kid on the school bus. His driving was so fast. He cut lines without signal. He even raced with a van who tried to cut lane.

So, for those who consider Anfield school bus service shall re-consider about it. You are not going to get what you pay even worst than those outsider school bus.

Anfield school bus charges on per term basis.  The length of each term is variable, depends on whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter term.

The school bus charge per term covers the same period as playgroup per term.

The charge is also variable and depends on the district.  The charge is definitely not cheap at all.  I remember even to and from Kln Tong area to Kln Tong campus will charge around $2000/month for 5 days/wk return trip.

Most Anfield kids will go to & from school by private transport arrangement (private car or Taxi) so the utilisation rate of school bus service is quite low and perhaps this is why they need to charge very high price to cover the cost.

no. i only needed single journey but it charged 70% of round trip...so 2 children travelling single journey too expensive. so i called taxi everyday and saved a lot of $$$

諗唔掂，下策，叫家傭call的士返學，等3個鐘，再call的士返屋企，貴唔過趙生幾多(最慘佢唔做妳生意!)，當然taxi冇school bus咁安全，唯有叫司機小心d開慢d，起碼有第3保。
(我舊年2件都係一齊搭的士放學)

There is a school bus service, they have 3 school buses (small size - 7-seater van) going to most  Kowloon area & some NT area.

They charge school bus fee based on each term even for KG students.  Usually only <5 students on each school bus and the school bus operator only serve Anfield & that's why the fee is quite high compare to other operators.  Most students come to school by private cars or self pick-up by adults, that's why no strong need for school bus service.

Yes there is school bus service but it's rather expensive and the bus is small and old.
