Are there any parents of native mandarin speaker in BK? what type of kinder did you put your kids in? Seems to put kids into IS Kinder is as difficult to put them into local one because you are not native Cantonese speaker, neither native English speaker.

Indeed, we opt for the international kinder and study in the int'l school all the way through. CIS and SIS are our preference, which however are very difficult to get in and only accept 4+ years old kids. My little one was borne in Dec.
One of my friends are native Mandarin speakers and they put their daughter in an international kindi. Her daughter spoke both equally well at graduation and now is in ESF. Children can learn at a space that we adults cldnt even imagine. So no need to worry in that sense. The decision should depend on whether you want your child to go local or international streams for primary and beyond.
