According to EBD, the teacher/student ratio is 1:15.  For SC, the ratio is around 1:10.

Yes... I also asked her how much time the English teacher normally spends with the class in K2 but I am still a bit confused.

It was in fact not a formal talk.  The whole school tour took about 10-15 min including tour and Q&A.  From my experience today, one Chinese teacher brought about 10-15 parents to tour around a certain part of the Norfolk campus, including open play area, music room, one big and one small K1 classroom.  The teacher explained some basic information during the tour, introduced a typical school day schedule, etc.  I think the Q&A part is useful if you have any questions about the school in mind or on spot.

They allowed parents/guidians, children and even helpers to come to the school area... luckily I did not miss this chance   as the letter of acceptance did not mention any school tour and said "registration without your child".

我有幾個朋友，小朋友interview完 st. catherine 後都話 in 得唔好，都估唔得，似陪跑，但都最後都收左am！ 佢地都好驚訝！

For 考參:
一個朋友BB不太識講野！一條問題都答唔到！無反應！
一個朋友BB心情唔好，扭計唔答！
一個朋友BB報英普班，普通話唔識講，那部份完全答唔到！
但這些父親是醫生，或是教師(主任).....真的唔知有沒有關係！

我覺得:
有些 in 得好的反而唔收！這我都可以理解，要隨緣！ in 得好未心收！
但完全唔答問題都收，真的怪怪的！但這是現實！(每一個生意都有佢喜歡的客路)

我因為今年沒有報sc，我想明年試下，所以比較留意報左sc的朋友的feedback，打聽下.......

我好欣賞沒有家底而考到sc的小朋友，比心機讀好d呀，加油，為這些小朋友打氣！靠自己實力..........

I will register on 13Dec (this Sun) morning. By the way, does it allow both parents (dad and mom) to take our daughter along? It didn't mention in the letter that how many persons are allowed to enter for registeration.

睇完咁多有仔女讀緊但都唔收既例子，我估呢d 真係天意, 我個女interview 時唔係好主動, 不過表現得和我好合作，雖然囡囡唔係首名出生會少5分, 不過我畢業的那間少學可直升英文中學。
當然, 囡囡唔係所有問題都識答, 臨走又係咁問我要糖食(係唔係童真？)....
我估同見工一樣啦, 你永遠唔會知道點解人地唔請你, 不過最後總會有一份好工架,唔好失望.
By the way,好多謝個仔既班主任回我電話，知道我的情況仲好鼓勵我，令我覺得冇咁難受。

I have to say that I really think you for passing me the thread about St Johannes.  This helps me a lot in deciding whether we should go for Stafford or SJC.

We are still waiting for KV, KM, Victoria (u didn't apply?  I thought you have...) and Mungseng(very minor chance from my opinion).  Upcoming will be 宣道 and 九龍禮賢會.  Not sure about these KG actually but just know some how that they're good as well.  Any idea?

Do you think that we're abit contradict to ourselves?  We want to put our son to Stafford because of it's strong Eng environment.  However, we also want to put them to KV which is strong in academic but relatively weak in Eng.  How will you choose finally?

By the way, do you think I shouldn't give up SN?  What do you like about SN?

Yes, I didn't want to put my son to their kg after I have been read the thread about their secondary allocation & they didn't responsible to the parents.  When I was still thinking to pay registration fee or not, I suddenly found this forum.

Now, I have 2 offers (SN & Stafford), gave up YYC.
And waiting the result from Keenmind, ready to go for interview at HKPS on Dec. 4.  These were last two chance apart from KV.

How about you?

Yes, I am still waiting for other results.  How about you, you've paid SN, Stafford and YYC so far if I remember correctly, right?  Which KG are you still waiting for apart from KV?  Wish you luck!

我同老公的小學只是一般屋村小學, 一間已close, 另一間般了另一個屋村(秀x平)... 但收了我女兒am . 所以我唸應該睇合緣及運氣多d

Just my thought, as the siblings are not the first kid and will not have the "5" points when applying P1.  If their brothers/sisters were not yet enter P1, then it is difficult to guarantee a good track records will be produced.  So, it is more safe for them to select the first kid...
