Besides, it is not the kindergarten to guarantee the admission to primary school, but the primary school (private section) which offers the reservation for SHCK students.  No need to worry as the importance is they value every single child (not judging them individually) who have been educated by them so they will try their best to let them stay as Sacred Heartist.  We have never heard of a SHCK students if they targetted SHCSPS or SHCS and cannot be admitted eventually.

For primary to secondary, definitely not one-dragon since there are over 300 primary school students from both am and pm so it is not allowed to have one-dragon with so many primary school students over secondary places.  However, SHCC does reserve all its discretionary places for own primary school students (very special, rarely found in other school systems) so they have up to 90% seats reserved for them.

Hope this answer your concern.  In fact, no need to be concerned.

SHCK will held interview on Jan 9 and annouce the result in early Feb, hope those targeting this school can get offer to celebrate happy Lunar New Year!

actually most of the SHCK parents are like me but I am just more outspoken and have more time to spend online so you would find me helping.  When I have trouble answering questions about SHCK (I am still learning since we are new to this big family!) then those experienced parents will come to my rescue too!

Of course I will be interested to know if you have the good news.  In fact in the past year I have gave suggestions and comments to many parents thru posting messages or PM and I do care about them all.  If they get good results, I would also be very happy!

Good luck to you and your daughter for the coming SHCK interview.  Since the interview may need the children to react quickly, my suggestion is to let them meet more strangers to make them more comfortable which could probably help to prepare for the interview.

==> Normally the kindergarten will arrange the school bus to finish dropping off students before they allow other students to enter the kindergarten thru the same stairways you visited.  So, the children won't have the similar problem since the school bus will all be gone when they enter.

Indeed, GH is my first choice because I am not very care about her kinder is good or not provided that she will let my kid join her primary school.

又在這裡見你的post 實在太好了，其實之前我對SH完全沒有概念，但在追蹤你的post之後開始對這間學校有興趣，而且我都是喜歡較嚴的學校；小女0701大女，已經in左SC,KV,KM,LH,HKPS...，今個星期將會in PC，出年in  SH，相信亦會報 HY。

亞女之前in各間時都表現穩定，答哂問題做足所有要做的，SC & LH waiting，其他 results 未知，我們全選廣東話 in，但仍遇到NET的interviewees，不過因我地平時用英文溝通，所以亞女都答到哂問題，但仍不敢抱好大希望，因今年人實在太多，而家最驚一間offer都冇，真慘！

Well, 'far' refers to distance only but not the travel time to school.

We also considered kindergartens last year like KV and PC, but turns out school bus needs 1 hour to travel between school and home.

If we take nanny bus to SHCK from Tsing Yi, it's only 30 mins.

但有一點要留意, 就是聖瑪加利大吳校長會轉到德望做校長.  她在幼兒教育是非常有經驗. 我亦都相信會有部份聖瑪加利大的老師會轉到德望任教. 所以我相信德望kinder是應該無問題的．再者，德望的新校舍的確非常吸引．SH & GH 都是”局”的學校(外間補習班常見專補SH/GH), 所以九龍就選GH, 香港就選SH. 如果可以搬的話, 我會選GH, 因為大，新，well equiped.  要在學校生活１２年，環境因素都好重要.
