yes, she did bring the animal toys, and few days later, she asked me to give her the animal photos respectively in these 2 weeks.

Do u remember u have sign the notes fm teacher "this month topic is The Animal"?  So yr child told u to bring some related items around animal is correct.  Or they cannot express wholelly.  Ask/talk with them to express it to u.

my daughter also told me that the teacher asked to bring "animal" to school, she said no need to bring real one, only need to bring a toy or a picture or a book.

How many did you bring?  My daughter asked me to buy 5.  As she always likes to say 5, we doubt if it is true to bring 5 really fishes to school.
