想請問下到底多唔多媽媽係比2yrs既bb返8:00 - 18:00架or 19:00? 會唔會覺得好似好慘咁?

Well, I also plan to send my BB to whole day nursery.  As I think that staying with teacher and other BB is much better than maid.  To me, learn how to get along with others, discipline and social life is much more important than knowledge.  And I know that most nursery have noon nap for about 1-2 hrs, and many playing actually.  So I don't think it is harsh for BB.  I think better than staying at home for whole day doing nothing, and just watching TV!

Well, I also plan to send my BB to whole day nursery!  Well, I agree that staying with other schoolmates and teacher would be better than with maid.  I think the social life, discipline would be more important than knowledge.  And I know that most of the nursery would arrange noon rest from 12:00 something to 2:00, and many playing actually.  I think she would be happy to get along with othes.

yourself, do you able to
maintain the same good
quality of care to your ki ...

Have you studied the schedule of a full day nursery class?  

Do you think any maid could provide a better service/care to the kid?

Even if the kid is being taking care by his own mother, the mother could gain valuable time to rest and perform other duties if she lets her kid stay in full day class.  Of course, there's no need to extend the school hour to 6pm in such case.

But there are many nursery schools that only provide full day classes.

Don't you feel it can be
so tired?
Don't you feel your kid being
sometime out of control and
make you angry or sad?

Teachers are just normal
people, I don't think they
can maintain good quality
of care to the kids for a
whole day long!

小朋友初時返學多數都會喊...最緊要係大人堅持...要忍心...我一放下小朋友便轉身走...雖然聽到他們在哭叫媽媽...但都要扮聽唔到...其實個心都實...都好唔開心...不過, 正如emailysih講這個就是小朋友的成長必經階段....

對呀!! 最後一個走小朋友心裡面可能會唔開心...雖然佢未必識講....
讀全日的學校假期好似小d...最方便要返工的家長!!

My daughter is going to be a full time N1 student in couple weeks. I applied full day school for her because of my work hour. Plus I think she can learn more social life in school than staying home. Most full day school usually have a "adjustment period" for kids. They will gradually extend the hour from 2 hours at the begining until the kid is ok to stay in school for full day. I think this is a good method. Honestly, I am worry that my daughter will cry and not willing to go to school. But I think this is a learning path for both the parents and the baby. So, I will stay strong and try not to cry on first day of school. hehe...

I think it's OK for them because they have lunch, afternoon nap and then some activities.
But I agree with 七點半 that the kid should not be the last one to leave, otherwise they'll be unhappy.

咁細個，　我不會比ｂｂ返咁長時間，　學野係重要，　親子時間更重要

我都想俾bb去讀全日班,因為覺得佢可以學多d野,在學校點都好過在家沒事做,但有時都怕返學全日10個鐘,佢會掛住屋企及唔習慣,會唔會太長時間在學校佢會唔開心,唔想返學呢?

I am also planning to send my daughter to whole day school. I think it is better for her to stay with kindergarten teacher than with maid....and hopefully, she can be independent and cooperative by studying in whole day class.....

我覺得係睇家長時間分配如何...如果你因為人手問題...去到6點都無辦法...其實小朋友都ok既...我個仔都係返全日...都ok...學校會安排節目比小朋友...不過, 我反而concern唔好讓小朋友做最遲走的一個....
