我相信情況而定, 有朋友說K1最好, 因為小朋友不知自己留班, K3 和 P1 可能會令小朋友不開了心, 但如果為了那兩間超級名校而repeat K3的話太冒險了, 因為repeat K3 面試表現可能好D, 但不是一定得, 因為學位實在太少了.

Which primary schools'  P1 application do not accept p1 student apply?  How about co-ed and DGJS?

My girl was born in Sept and is now two years old.  She has entered nursery in Sept, but I am thinking of letting her to be a super big girl.  

Are there many Sept super big kids?  At which level do they normally repeat?  K1, K3 or P1?  It seems that repeating K3 would be the best, isn't it?

I like to find out the schools that accepted your child.  I also thinking to do that as my girl is supper small girl.  Kindly PM me your results to give me some confidence of doing this...

From my experience, repeated K3 or P1 is not a bad choice as your kid need to compete with all the big boys/big girls/super big boys/super big girls* which is not easy particular in those elite school for whole the primary /secondary education. There are really pressure for kids and parents. * big boy/gril is from Jan -June
* super big boy/girl is born from Sep - Dec one year before.

同埋係第二年除左自己考的直資或私校,咁重可唔可以再參加統一派位??->如果你已經參加一次, 就不可以再參加統一派位

多謝分享，我想如果今年我小朋友考唔到心儀的小學，我都會選擇幫佢轉校再repeat K3。幼稚園考小學都咁激，上到小學再考小學重要睇埋學校的各科成績，萬一小朋友因為是細B未pick-up到，在小一時不能考到頭三甲，可轉到心儀小學的機會都幾難啦！

前年我都有同樣問題, 囝囝12月出世, 除了幼稚園的直上小學外, 全部直資小學都唔收, 幼稚園校長及老師都話唔贊成我個囝囝repeat K3, 因為佢覺得囝囝有能力上小一, 但最後我都選擇repeat K3, 重讀一年K3後, 再次面試時, 表現比一年前差很遠, 所以如果沒有好的直資學校收, 我覺得可以比小朋友repeat一年. 因為除非你的小朋友成績好好, 否則好難插班到好的小學.

以上是我的意見, 如有人不同意, 請多多包含

My son is a small B as well (borned Nov). We got in our first choice DSS school, and he got an offer from Ying Wa too.

He is P2 now and he is doing fine.So just take it easy, have confidence in your child and yourself.

Hope you can get in the school of your choice just like us.
