我家住深井﹐離開九龍塘好遠﹐ 如果有幸入到出名既K1﹐ 才會搬屋。 如果入不到﹐ 便會在荃灣讀算了﹐ 始終搬家好大開支呢。

吾知荃灣有無好K1拍得住九龍塘既名校呢?

如果我入到St Cat, York, 宣道, 協恩, 根德園, 就梗係搬屋啦, 如果入吾到﹐ 係咪應該選荃灣K1, 都好過揀九龍塘次一點既K1呢?

請俾下意見.

I think nursery class helps children a lot in growing up and they also learn a lot of social skills.  If you plan to send  your BB to playgroups, then you can treat nursery class as an everyday playgroup.    My daughter didn't talk much before she starts nursery.  She's kind of slow in talking, always talking single word.   Now, she talks a lot, and most of the time is double words.  

If you live in Sham Tseng, there's not much choice for nursery class.  Only PIPS and the other one at Bellagio.   I heard parents saying that the one in Bellagio is better than PIPS.  However, I choose PIPS because PIPS is half day school only, and my daughter also attended the playgroup classes in PIPS and I found it quite good.

Kinder in PIPS is not as academic as other Kinder outside Sham Tseng.   It's quite "hea".   Not much homework.  Their syllabus is not as difficult as other Kinder.   In fact, PIPS's focus is not academic, so they won't train their student with a lot of homework, writing, memorising ... It's really quite "hea".   

If you are interested in PIPS PN, call and ask them about the enrollment deadline.   I remember it was around december time last year.  Good thing for PIPS is that, you don't need to interview for PN.   It's first come first serve.

Hi there,

My son is also in PN2 class, as the previous mom said, I am a bit surprise from what my son gets from the school.  Last week he got some 'words card' from school.  Noted he did really learn something from the school.  Lately, I got an email from Ms. Polly, she commented about my son at school and attached his pix while he's playing at school, I really appreciate indeed for what she did.  

I have applied some kinders in Kowloon Tong also, we haven't yet decided where should put him in.  PIPS seems is not bad though for PN class.  However, I hv heard a mom commented the Kinder is not that good.  Don't know if anyone have further comments...

Each PN class in PIPS have 2 class mistresses - 1 Chinese teacher who always talks in Chinese, and 1 English teach who always talks in English.  It isn't always that the English teacher is a NET.  My daughter's English teacher is a local teacher, i.e. not a native speaker.  Other PN classes may have Indian teacher as the English teacher.   Don't worry if it is Indian teacher who teachs your kid.  Their Indian teacher speaks perfect English.   PIPS do have NET as English teachers in K1-K3.

For Putonghua, there is no regular Putonghua class for PN.   However, the teacher said on and off their Putonghua teacher will come to PN and have some special topic class (eg some playing time or singing time) with them so that the kids are also exposed in Putonghua environment.   Regular Putonghua lesson is only available in K1 or above.

我舊鄰居個仔兩間都讀過, 佢話保護兒童會好好, 教到佢個仔好乖.

綠楊早幾個月因為收pn學生而迫k3學生轉晒pm class, 個校長仲就上bk回應, 我覺得佢態度好差.

Interview就要睇你分左俾外籍定本地老師in,家長同小朋友一起,個老師會俾D玩具個小朋友玩,之後就問下小朋友例如幫我拿個咩色既積木之類問題,看看小朋友既反應,都係幾standard既問題.最後好似有D大肌肉玩具讓她爬過去,總共唔使5分鐘.

我都有去過綠楊問過報名,但係好不愉快law...
個書記(我估)d態度好差,問佢野,望都唔望下我,或者叫我出去睇塊板,我個人認為連接見家長的人態度都差,校長都不理,老師的態度更難以想像.....
