I have the same worries as well before, but I think it is good to for my son to train their fine motor skills, patience and creativity through drawing. The teacher teaches the drawing principle by letting him to draw & feel and explained to me that cannot hold pen doesn't mean cannot draw Anyway, "seeing is believe", you can have a trial class there too. How old are your son? My son is 3 years old. I called many famus painting centre but some tutor said that the painting course is best for child from 3.5 or 4 years old because their hand diffcult to old the pen!
