They have English classes in KV, and it's not like your children will not have spoken any English at all.  However, comparing to the environment provided by St. Catherine's, then it is way different.

It all depends on what kind of primary schools you target to.  Many options KV parents take will be to accompany KV with some outside English classes.

My elder daughter is now studying in a kindergarten in Central, those with voucher so are not the same style as those you are considering.

The difference between Kentville and St. Catherine's is obvious.  KV's strength is Chinese and Math while St. Cat's strength is on English.  So you can decide which side you would like to put more emphasis on.

Remember, no kindergartens are perfect!

我有個舊同事個家姐2個小朋友都讀soka ..
佢既comment係如果你唸住上傳統小學, soka 既小朋友會開頭係會追得好辛苦, 因為 soka 係強調"愉快學習" 佢地唔係好著重抄寫, 無乜功課, 所以一上小一對住d功課2個小朋友都叫哂救命 ...

To be honestly, the curriculum in soka is not as difficult as that in 根德園&St. Catherine. As far as i know most of the kids went to 活動教學的直資小學instead of traditional famous primary school. Therefore, if you aim to go to famous primary school, soka might not be ur cup of tea.

Last year we int Soka, they mainly focus in asking parent's questions, so, it will add marks if both parents attended the interview.

Interest to know too.  The reason for choose a good KG for kids just because of good 小學, right?

yes ah my girl is at soka kg at K1! the teacher  and the principal ms wong are v nice! my girl looks v happy but i know this yr so difficult to enter coz so many kids to apply!
