Just to share my view on APSKT:
My son was graduated from APSKT a few years ago. I found the workload there was reasonable. He could finish most assignments at school, even when he was in P5 and P6. On the other hand, the project training, verbal and presentation training in APSKT did help him a lot in his secondary school study. he was admitted to an elite secondary school and found virtually no gap in his first year. he was doing well and studying happily in the following years. He didn't like music and was not doing well in music in his primary study. However, as he is getting mature, he enjoy playing his musical instrument. In my view, the more tutoral classes you attend, the heavier workload you have. Try to train your kid to study by himself and keep away from the tutoral class. This is the only way to release his workload.

我朋友個女是宣道高材生，現剛升上中學，佢話高小時功課，projects 多到佢頂唔順，令佢自覺"失去很多"，因此升中時佢選了一間relax D 既英中（都係一線的英中，係佢自己扣門入，寧願放棄了另一間功課量較大的更高level英中).我覺得佢禁細個但好識諗．

Agree! both 2 are good schools. The decision I made is also concerned for the advantages to my youngest daugther.

I made the same decision to pick MS and withdraw APS.

Can you share your option why you gave up APS such good school.

BTW, is yr child also assigned to MS PM class?? We might meet on 1st of Sept then.

2.學校課外活動通常在甚麼時候進行?放學還是星期六?

循道 has a Secondary school as a backup and free for 6 years. Also the younger sister will get 10 marks when applying primary school after 4 years.
However, 宣道 has a good reputation, teachers are nice, good acdemic result,...?

It is very hard to make the decision between these 2 schools.

Can you give some comments?

Thx again for your sharing.  :)  
Is any assitance or support to be provded by school to P.1 students? Those teachers are kind or not? Its style has a very big difference from kindergarden life, kids are not easy to adopt their new life in the 1st year. e.g. 30 mins lunch, long school hours, many different subjects/classes a day ...

生活教育、資訊科技、圖書課無測考，唔計分，但對孩子的能力、性格和價值觀的培育也十分重要。

父母的支援和配合是很重要的。我和太太都有自己工作，但盡量都抽時間陪子女。自己能力不足，甚至不懂的科目，例如樂器、普通話和英文，我們都有請導師和補習老師，每星期教半小時至個半小時。
