Hi Andrea's mom,

Glad to know that Alvin and Andrea are classmates for three years.  However, as Alvin will attend school at the first time slot, we may not be able to meet on 2 Sept.

I fully agree that Ms Chiu is an excellent teacher.  Really hope that the class teacher of 3C will be as good as her.

I hope that the 3B homeroom teacher will be as good as Miss Chiu. My elder daughter didn't get to have such good teacher as Miss Chiu when she was in KV.

Hi all,

Time flies.  1/2 a month's time before new school year starts.  When I told her so, she just said "吓! 咁快既?"    To be frank, Andrea didn't do much during the summer holidays.  She just keeps playing all day...

Andrea will be in 3C in September.  We are in the last time slot on 2 Sept.  I wonder if the class teacher will be as good as Miss Chiu.

Yes, long summer holidays, I think the school let the K3 children have more time to prepare for the P1 interviews.

Hi all,

Summer holiday just started.  It has been a very busy school year for K2 students.  Thanks all for the gifts distributed last Friday.  Andrea and I really hope that everyone will have a fun and restful summer holilday

Andrea was also excited when she got back her class photos and keep telling me who's who.  There were some of the names I haven't heard about until now From her smile (which both daddy and I felt it's a bit over), we can tell that she's very happy at school...

Did you spot my son in the classroom today? My son showed me the class photos and told me who was Andrea and Charlotte. = )
My son was all happy and rehearsed the play at home once in a while. Then, I remember that my daughter didn't have the K3 graduation end of school party last year. Still feeling sad about it. My daughter also looked disappointed when seeing her brother rehearse the play at home.

Yes, there will be performance today and tmr.  Andrea told me that not everyone will be acting as the dancing children and 咖啡杯, some will be acting like butterflies.  Andrea is very excited about the performance as she missed last year due to the school closure.  

Huen Huen saw me today as I dropped Andrea to school.  She looked very happy

Actually all the kids in the classroom looked very happy too.  Some of them were chatting while others played with the lobster.  The atmosphere was quite different from normal school days.  I think that's becos all the assessments and most of the classes were over for this school year.  They were doing the year-end project now...

暄暄都話表演咖啡杯的同學仔要帶一個空的背囊，又話星期四及五都要帶，有2日表演的嗎？
對於能參予這次的表演，她表現得開心，間中會在家跳下舞、唱下歌。希望這次的表演能成為小朋友在根德園一個美好的回憶！

Hi Charlotte mom,

The performance will be on this Thursday and Friday.  Per Andrea, they don't need to bring a long dress now as Miss Chiu said there will not be enough teachers to take care of all the kids to get change and instead they need to bring a small backpack for the performance (for those who take part as the dancing children and the coffee cup I believe).

So I'll probably see you on Jul 5 then.

Charlotte said they will perform the musical performance today and tomorrow.  At first, she said she need to bring a dress to school; yesterday she said she clarified with the teacher that there will be decorations to be put on their school uniform so she doesn't have to bring the dress.

Charlotted acted as a teacher and taughter her little brother how to act and sing in the musical.  Now my son is able to sing all the songs together with actions!

Some parents said the report card as well as the assessment papers will be delivered on the party day.  So far my daughter didn't tell me that the teacher has reviewed with them any of the assessment papers.


Hi all - have any of your kids talked about the performance this week or the next?  Andrea kept telling me that she needs to put on a long dress for her performance but she doesn't know which date it will be.

Hi Felicia,

I've got the information ready, just wonder where to get the lobster "model"...

For P1... I have some confridence with MCS (would also try other DSS or private school) but just wanna want her to behave well and have a positive attitude towards her work (eg not to rush for work or while sitting in an exam).  I know it's difficult to turn her to a perfect girl, but just try my best to shape her personality before it's too late...  My friends always say that I'm being a bit harsh to my daughter, but I don't want to spoil her.  This is one of the reasons why I place her at KV.

Regarding to the note, it is for the yearend project.  What we need to prepare is
- look for information about lobster's 生活習性
- 實物/手工

My daughter told me that Ms. Chiu has stapled a note in her handbook regarding the lobster project, but when I look at her handbook last night, I cannot find any note (not even the holes from the stapler).  So I am actually not very sure what is required.
