同Miss 傾吓都好架, 等佢多D留意你小朋友, K2 開始會分成小組上堂, 會好D嘅....
可能小朋友怕羞, 唔敢講... ??

屋企都要多D同小朋友講英文, 睇英文書, 幫助好大架...

Sorry to disturb you.  I think most St Catherine's parents have done a lot for their children.  What I mean is that they have searched for the best to their little one and most of their children are good at English.

My little one will study K2 next year, but she is weak at English, so I am finding a private Englsih tutor for her, but don't know when to find a good one  Could you please introduce one to me?   Many many many thanks.

To my experience, more practice at home is good enough.  Don't force your child go to school just for English.

successful admission rate to St Cat is relatively high compared to spk/sh
successful admission rate to famous schools from St Cat contribute only to a small percentage....you may treat their statistics as reference only ...

我覺得, 小朋友入到邊間小學(考又好抽入好), 家長o既努力遠比出自邊間幼稚園重要多好多好多. st cat o既小朋友之所以數字上好多入到出名o既學校, 係因為一來st cat 學生多, 二來俾小朋友讀st cat o既家長有唔少並唔係普通家長, 佢地好好心機咁培育佢地o既小朋友, 所以就算佢地o係普通幼稚園讀都應該唔差. 當然, 學校o既支援係有, 例如一年一度家長分享會, 不過點講, 家長都唔可能只靠學校.

錯喇! 讀官津校未必一定係窮光蛋, 因為有好多名校都係官津校(辦學)的; 而讀私/直資學校, 亦不一定是富裕人家 (好可能只得一個小孩, 死慳死低俾佢學名校, 希望他日學有所成, 真係"家家有書難念的經", 有苦自己才知啊!).

我就打算為小兒報讀官津校, 因為我覺得比較純樸d (個人想法)囉!!!

In Hong Kong Education System, it doesn't matter for any kindergarten get the seat in P.1.
Of course, it's better to have a kindergarten with Primary section.  Then, you do not need to worry about the lucky draw.  However, those kindergartens are not really up to the standard even some of the Primary school's Pincipal said for their own kindergarten.
So, a lot of parents if they can afford, they would like to apply private kindergartens in Kowloon Tong for in case of "Knock Door".
Of course, my daughters are studying in SC.  SC offers full education in English, Chinese and Putonghua classes.  They're so happy to enjoy the "easy" school life and the foundation of their future.  In the mean time, parents play a important role to teach at home and follow the instruction of school.

every year, St. Catherine holds a seminar for k2 parents on how to prepare for P1.  
first part is the experience shared by 5 parents of ex.St cat students.  They talked about how to prepare their portpolio, interview and interview methods by primary schools such as DGJS, DBJS, CKY, etc.  
Teachers provided statistics on the nos of students accepted by certain primary school.  They included all types of schools from very top ones to ordinary ones.
The talk held in mid March in 2009. Pls wait and see when your kid is in K.2.
