前幾天剛收到朗誦老師提供的英文誦材和 demo
A-level 級別都幾複雜, 老師老人家話齋, 一籮陷阱
聽完 briefing, 有點「滴汗」

我同事講, 有名校區學校本來暑假捉細路先教
傳聞已知道今年比賽 syllabus 都唔易砌
結果, 停課令一出, 又要呆等至 9 月尾
本來今個暑假已報名的課程, 有唔少縮沙, 真煩...

小學級別竟然有「朱古力獎門人」、「愛麗斯夢遊仙境」
我的化骨龍...too old for that...

我諗, 學校老師都會有誦材了
各位 mum 記得打番學校問下啦
早d準備, 開學時, 老師揀人教, 中的機會實高好多

BTW, 如果有 bk mum 之前 pm 我, 我又未覆, 請再 pm 多一次, 有些 message 唔知點解唔見左, 我幫唔幫到你做 referral 都會答你一次先的

but 如果問我點搞詩詞, 我未必幫到你, 我只係普通媽咪一個, 識教會考英文都唔等於識教朗誦, 咁易就唔駛搵 specialist 啦

老師說, 今年唔帶"報名表回條"入場, 或者唔簽定體溫資料, 可能會俾延誤入場, 唔肯簽會俾拒絕進場, 千萬唔好唔見張 form

yes...luckily total cost is much less than year-long piano and vocal, speech is just a few months if not taking trinity speech exam

there is no real class in HK that is very cheap but can learn something concrete...

comparing with training cost, book price is a small part

usually speech festival application opens in the 1st 2 weeks of Sep and music festival application open in the 1st 2 weeks of Oct

other than schools, there are some centres and specialist teachers who can enrol the speech festival

in music festival, there are a lot of private music teachers who can enrol as well

speech teachers can enrol for both festivals, but the majority of music teachers can only enrol for music due to account restriction called temporary members

nevermind, I was told that there are some smaller competitions actually using schools speech festival syllabus poems as their own competition materials, or even allow own-choice items

add oil, learning language arts is more than just competition

overview

prose reading場數係較poem小, 可能只得一場, 但上年人數好明顯較往年多, 記得亞仔果場都over60人.

我會覺得prose較複雜, 因段落較多, 真係要講得好生動都幾難, 都係果句, 要睇老師既功力同小朋友英語能力.

in these 2 years, the syllabus has been uploaded before book fair, I know a few schools tell students about that also, but not taken action until Sep, for me, Sep is always busy, can't take care of my children's progress

my teacher always inform us well beforehand, so that we can always check the availability of books, esp. those v popular, at the book fair, and check the accuracy according to the excerpt reference we are holding

the books are different every year, as a reading, they are always good, as an one-off reading, not cheap to buy after the fair

the number of participants in prose reading is far fewer than that in poems, because most people treat the "length" as the most important thing

my kids' learning experience is, poems are more difficult than prose

Pls advise if this 英文散文項目用書 the same every year (or nearly every year)?
Because at the time of 書展 this year, we did not know what 英文散文項目用書 are. So did not buy anything.
