Both.  At school, I teach LS in Chinese.  In tutorial center, I teach EMI students.

sorry for the late reply as I was so busy with my teaching.

I think it is better to teach LS in English rather than in CHinese because teachers can find data and references easier.   Sutdents learn easily and have better understanding about the topics.  For writing, I think it depends on students' language proficiency.   FOr some sutdents from top EMI schools, their English is better than CHinese.  So, it is better for them to write the exam in ENglish.  

No one knows what language you use in exam from your result slip.  So, it won't have any impact on your entrance to University.

I think they don't have the subject in the past or they taught junior LS in CHinese in the past.  Therefore, their first class of F.4 need to take the exam in CHinese.  But I believe that after 3 years, when the current F.1 students becomes F.4, they will take the exam in English.
But all are my guess only, you need to ask their teacher for the truth.
