I think there is not much "waiting list" letter,as my friend's daughter was accepted by CCKG eventually as she recieved the "waiting list letter".
May wish you can recieve the phone call later.

I live in Lam Tin, received the letter on 9 Arp afternoon.  My girl is also on waiting list.  

I am very happy already, because I don't have too much expectation as there are so many candidates, she  ...

It really depend on his mood that day. Keep him relax, cheerful & talkative in order to explore his potential. Parents contribute only little for his success.

When I go to home today, I can see the letter in my mail box.  My daughter has failed the application.
