Dear all,
My daughter has learnt piano for 1.5 years. Teacher commented she has very good musical sense and actually she can memorize the piece after playing it a few times. Now she is only using only one book 'Children pieces" Is that enough?
the songs she played recently are:
Exam pieces for Grade 2
Minuet in G Bach
Home sweet home
The fair
Joyous farmer
Ponyo Goya

It sounds to me that your girl did quite well. However, using only one book seems to be an 'unbalance diet'. At least some technique books should be included.
