Hi Salina,

I think the no. of applicants should be much less than last year due to the financial tsunami (I also watch from the news).  
1st interview by teacher while 2nd interview by the principal.  These 2 interviews are in 7 Feb. and end Feb. respectively.  Shortlisted applicants have the chance to go into the 2nd interview.  So, some applicants might not have 2nd internview.
I think it's both individual and group discussion during the 1st interview, only asks simply questions about the daily life issues.  Right ??  I guess only !!

I am  our very confused now as the format have changed this year. I also want to know what kind of the questions the teacher will ask as the letter mentioned it is about 1 hr.

I think maybe this year the no. of appliciant increase so they seperate 2 interviews.

Thanks.  Do you have any comments about the other questions ?  I want to take an interview course but the time is not enough.  Do you have any interview course suitable for DGS before 7 Feb. ?

I think the interview does not include DGJS as they can enter the secondary school.

I also received an interview letter this morning.  My daughter is invited to DGS interview on 7 Feb.  Who knows how many applicants in the 1st interview and 2nd interview ?  Are they including DGJS ?  What questions will be asked ?  And what subjects ?  Is it group discussion ?  In both English and Mandarine ?  Is anyone can help my daughter ?  Please, thank you !!

my daughter also received the letter and interview on7/2 at 8:30am.

just rcvd the interview letter. it seems to hv a new arrangment this year. the interview will be held on 7th Feb wz the teachers instead of the headmistress. then the shortlisted applicants will hv meeting with the headmistress later in february. does anybody rcvd the same arrangement as well?

Very much appreciate your generous sharing here.

My girl is just admitted to primary one, DGJS.  From your observation, what kind of persons does DGJS/DGS nurture?  
I heard sth negative about DGJS/DGS' students e.g. always like to compete with the others, can't mix with peoples other than DGS' students, too proud of themselves.  

My girl is active, talkative, does not like to compete but does bear in mind if she is not praised when her peer is.  Hope she can survive the culture of DGJS.  What would you think?

heard from my friend that she know DBS already admitted students (good at sport and also academic) even though DBS claim interview will start on Feb. So, they said that chance for DBS (40seats) is very very little

Anybody know that DGS is same or not . Pls advise
