有關根德園一問

本人兒子考到根德園, 現有以下問題, 想請教讀根德園d 家長。

請問老師有無愛心? 聽說有好多家長係interview 時覺得老師好惡和沒有禮貌。

我兒子比較好動, 上playgroup時不留心, 仲就圍走, 我怕他不能習慣, 他能否適合讀此校?

請問有沒有後悔比孩子讀根德園?

我仔讀KV前有讀N1, 都係想佢見多D人, 因為佢細細個時好怕羞... 屋企又淨係得工人姐姐, 不如返下N1, 同小朋友玩下... 有群體生活.

我個仔都冇讀N1, KV 都收, 佢依家讀K1, 老師都冇話佢追吾上, 所以不一定要讀既.

Dear gracechung, so agree with what you said.  I really love KV of its academic performance and discipline.  So I really hope my girl will get the offer next year.  Which primary your boy is?

We need to wait at the halls during the interviews, thus not sure about the questions.
APS - calculation and spelling; KTS - not know; TL - paper games; SFA - paper (no need to write but 'tick' the correct answers), calculations eg.(3+4+5)=12, 2 Chinese vocab in Potunghua; Good Hope - drawings + few verbal questions + 15-min questionnaire by parent.

Thanks for caring! Yes we did enroll for several private schools and being accepted by SFA, APS, Good Hope, KTS, TLMSHK, etc. They are all good schools that why we hardly make our decision.

2) Should be but not must. My daughter asked the teacher whether she could have mami's opinions - the teachers accepted, that allowed me to join their interview section before my part.

3)  As my girl haven't attent nursery classes before K1 interviews, thus I enrolled ~8 kinders for her to act as playgroups and warm-up purpose. eg. Cannon, Munsang, APS, KRS, PC... I only told my girl its games and she enjoyed very much.

4) I still struggling with this question, we don't have marks for Maryknoll but will try for the lucky draw. For private schools, she's being reject by DGJS, but accepted by all others enrolled schools - unable to make the decision yet.

Dear Happypenguin,

I love KV a lot and I am preparing my girl to enrol KV next year.  May I know more from you all KV mami here?

1) The nursery my daughter currently attending uses English as the only language.  May I know what langauge the teachers used at the KV interview?
2) I learnt that two teachers to interview parents and kid seperately.  Am I right?  That means we cannot assist the kid at all even we are sitting beside her?
3) Besides KV, which kindergarten you enrolled before so that I can have chance to practice more before interviewing at KV?
4) Which primary is your target?  I am targeting Maryknoll.

本人當年曾親身經歷KV面試過程,個人認為學校安排極為妥善及公平 - 男女孩分開interview,預算時間準確,面試的兩個老師溫和有禮,亦肯即場回應小朋友的突發要求,比起其他Kinder,KV首仗已令家長加印象分！

我囡都是好動形 ...
