到而家都未in 完！waiting list 仲有無機會？
究竟佢哋鍾情D咩學生？上次去in,見到D學生上p.e堂，個個天真，活潑。有個小朋友仲主動走嚟同我傾繼！從此我就喜歡此校！可惜係waiting list!

Hi Starmami,

for private schools, no.  you can go in parallel.
SMC is a DSS (direct subsidy).  hence, you will forfeit your placement with the govenment if you accept the offer from SMC (or any DSS).  

private schools and international schools are totally independent.

For my case, 2nd interview = admission.  SMC gives you 2 weeks to confirm withdrawal of "lucky draw".  I have immediately signed back the confirmation.

For my case, 2nd interview = admission.  SMC gives you 2 weeks to confirm withdrawal of "lucky draw".  I have immediately signed back the confirmation.

Hi Chapmanma,

Me too, I sent only one letter to school since I have received the waiting list letter at the end of Oct.   May be I will consider to send 2nd letter after lucky draw application (i.e. Jan09) if necessary.  Otherwise, i will send till Jun 09.

That's right, I agree to G-Ma's advice   "
其實呢段時間可以幫小朋友再加強一d英文及中文既訓練,
到明年不妨爭取一次2nd interview既機會, 因為小朋友到時候已經大個d, 成熟d, 再interview既話可能又會有唔同結果."

I just send 1 letter only.  I'm afraid it will cause some trouble to the staff.  I think I will wait until Jan 09.  How about you ? You send many letters to SMC already.  Actually, I really don't know ...

If rejected, they will send you a letter by register post.  If put you on waiting list, they will send you a normal letter.
