人情冷淡, 做就有係份, 成果 ??
Dear colleague,
I regret to inform you that around 450 jobs have been made redundant across the Bank.
The redundancies are across all customer groups and some back office functions. The colleagues affected by these job redundancies have been advised today by their line managers.
Over the coming weeks, the Bank will make every effort to help those affected to look for alternative roles either within the Bank or externally.
Such decisions are always exceptionally difficult to make and are a result of organizational change in a number of areas as well as the deteriorating economic conditions and our cautious outlook for 2009.
I know many of you are anxious about your own job security, especially bearing in mind the current external economic conditions. In this day and age no guarantee of job security can be given. External economic conditions are constantly evolving and we need to continuously review and make changes to how we operate. I can however assure you that then Bank does not overreact to short term factors. Where redundancies are necessary our approach remains to first seek redeployment opportunities for the affected employees.
