SMC and TTPS - How to make a choice? Why?

SMC and TTPS are private and EMI schools. It seems that SMC has a better playing environment than TTPS. I have experience of speaking with students when visited SMC, students are very happy at school and teachers are also very nice, e.g. a PE teacher was able to manage a group of students (about 30 kids) effectively and students had carried out teacher’s instructions correctly. My observation is that students have no problem in listening and speaking.

I have visited TTPS twice but regret that no chance to chat with students. Through briefing session, I enjoyed very much the vision and mission of TTPS. As well, TTPS has a good team of English teachers and PTH teachers.

No doubt the two schools provided a good language environment for students. But making a choice, it is very difficult. If you, how do you choose? Why?

My son was accepted by SMC & TTPS.  But I only paid the register fee to TTPS in Oct.

Because we love a traditional education teaching and usign English & PTH for the main language in his school life.

Beside, my son also love SMC very much after the interview.

i choose SMC because my daughter has been studying P1 in this school since September,2008.

And our choice of SMC is correct.

To be honest, if I were you, I would choose SMC.  My daughter was with TTPS's kindergarten (international stream).  I have no doubt the PHT teachers are good.  But, their English still very local in accent.  That is why I have switched out my daughter to other school.  

But one thing for sure, at TTPS, what I heard from those are studying there, you shall have lot of homework than SMC.  You are asked to between Local and international system.  They are trying to be what TSL or CKY.  Still, your child would need to master homework.  That's depend on you what you wish your child to have - a happy learning environment or a homework environment?
