報esf小一

女兒現在一間international preschool讀, 雖然還有幾年才入小一, 不過對於報is primary卻有點不明白想請教大家.

如果目標想試esf或啟新(rc), 想請問是在入p1前的一年才報名, 還是需要現在報定? 因為在網上見到一些讀國際幼稚園的小朋友, 好像兩歲已要報名. 看後有點擔心, 因我還沒有開始準備.

另外, 我知道esf很難入, 想問如果我自己持英國passport, 不過老公同女兒都是特區護照, 是否沒有幫助? (因將來都想比女兒到英國升學)

而如果住在九龍區, 除了esf, 還有沒有其他is的選擇???

No tpoon, My daughter studies in Woodland now. Because I know that Woodland has a good relationship with ESF. ESF will send someone to Woodland school around January to have a non-official "interview" with those kids.

I guess it may help a bit for Woodland kids to get a interview place into ESF comparing other schools.

除了ESF幼稚園, 九龍區的 IS Kinder 仲有 Anfield, Tutor Time, Kingston 同 Kowloon Baptist Church Kindergarten (KBCK).

I guess studying in St. Cat does put your daughter in a very bad position - how can you show to ESF that she can't go to local school?

Her first language will not be considered by ESF at all.

On the letter, it even says after the interview, they will place my kid under waiting list. They also strongly recommend us  to apply other int'l schools, just in case if we are rejected.

study in ESF Kinder only give you priority in each Cat. But they will still interview Cat 1 first..... and looks like competition in CWBS is very keen vs other ESF Primary School....

持外國passport 是沒有幫助ｏ
ESF will only consider the English level of your child during the interview. ( i.e. fluent spoken English for P1)
