小兒因功課壓力而轉校，離校前要交一封退學信給學校，怎樣才可寫得婉轉一點，格式應該是怎樣的呢？請各位家長幫幫忙！thx!

I hereby inform you [name of your child] shall withdraw from your school with effect from (Date).

No sample.

I suggest writing it simply, you may make reference to resignation letter - leave on my own accord.  

You are not going back to the same school.  They want a letter for record purpose only. Write as simple as you can.
