Hi, any kids attending NAP? My girl is Audrey.

How do your kid like the school? My girl doesn't talk much about school  and I think it may be good to initiate some sharing here.

Yes, your son sit (I'm not sure if next to Audrey or not) in the same table. My girl do mention a lot about Hui Hui, Angie, Venus, Annie, Scott, Gabriel, Jerry, Tania, Kristen......

Did U go to CCKG this morning? That was a disaster and I got all wet during the queuing up. And gosh, the form need to return this Thursday, another queuing day?!

Hello! All NAP mums,
I've just discovered a corner for NAP. It's great. This is Hui Hui's mum. After 2-month study, i've found my son's lang proficiency improved a lot. He always speak Eng and PTH at home. I'm very surprised. In Sept and early Oct, whenever i asked him questions concerning school life, he ran away and ignored me. Recently, he started to tell me his friends. He likes to play with Audrey, Venus, Annie and Angie (apple table, his groupmates), Hewitt, Jerry, Sebastian (banana table). This week, my son told me he played green dinosaur with Audrey and chased another classmate. He said it's fun! Later, I talked to Angie's mum. She said her girl told her "Ms. Yeung was very angry" (used PTH) i think it should be about the chase at school. Then i asked my son whether Ms. Yeung was angry or not. He also used PTH said Ms. Yeung was angry. Of course, i've taught my son not to chase at school. But It's interesting to know what our children do at school. Generally speaking, my son do enjoy his school life at SC.

Sorry i'm very busy no time to reply yours.

I didn't receive Ms. Yeung call on Friday.  Actually Hewitt stay at home speak in English with my helper and speak cantonese and some english to us.

I need go to work, therefore, no time to join the parents volunteer.

**Scott mon** Could you told me where to join the PTH class.  How much ?  Give me some information?  thanks

Ms Yeung didn't call me on Friday.  It's good to have the review.  =)

Scott also didn't speak PTH at home.  Same problem with you.  I let him to join the PTH class on Sat.  Now, he is trying to speak a little.  He likes to speak in English for a short sentence.  ie. It's right or it's not right.

BTW, I didn't join parents volunteer.  Sorry!

Dear moms

Did Ms Yeung called any of U on Fri, the teachers development day?

Ms Yeung called me to talk about Audrey's performance at school. She said the music lesson is always before school ends and Audrey always fell asleep and therefore didn't sing during music lesson.

She also noticed Audrey has problem gripping pencil and asked me to let her draw more pictures using crayons/ colour pencil at home. But in fact she has always been using crayons to draw at home and her problem is always about pencil.!!??

Ms Yeung also said Audrey always speak English & Cantonese in class and refuse to use PTH to answer question. How about Scott & Hewitt?

She said I should let her listen to more PTH songs, DVD, etc at home. I think the problem is she uses Cantonese & English at home and less exposure to PTH and no chance to praice at home. But my PTH is also not good!!! How about your boys?

P.S. I've been assigned to assist in "Arts & crafts" in the parents volunteers program. Any one of U will help out at school? Will we have a chance to meet?

This morning Audrey woke up at 7am and stayed in the bed till 7:25am. She refused to get up & brush her teeth and finally I carried her to the toilet and of course she cried. I's really tired of that, almost every morning is like this, wake up and refuse to leave the bed. And I started to think if it is better she study in pm class.

Anyway, about the Kumon, do U think it is too early if I enroll Audrey to the class when she turn 3 in Dec? Shall I wait till she is older as the class is only teaching counting?! Also have U heard of Enopi? I'm considering which course to join.

Thanks waiwai mon,

This lunch time i asked again, are you happy in the school today.  His answered is happy.  Sometimes i'm not sure which one is truth.  I talked with him if need to waiting a long time school bus then arrive home.  I suggested idea if i'm available i pick up him.  After that, i asked him only this problem then is it happy in the school.  He say yes.   i don't know is truth or not.  

Anyway, maybe next week i try to find a day to pick up him and discuss with his class teacher about this problem.  If not.......everyday i'm thinking of him why he is unhappy. .......

Hewitt everyweek one time to take the Maths class to counting the numbers.  Kumon is not one teacher to watching one kids.  One teacher around watching four kids.  But i want to change 學林 (學珠心算)in next year.

School has already started for more than a month & Hewitt's still saying he doen't like school? Humm..... it is a problem need to address!

As he's still so small & maybe can't express himself, it is better to visit Ms Yeung/ Ms Dom if possible (better than caling them) to see how he's doing in school. Is he quiet, is he enthusiatic and participate in the games/ singing, etc. .. also see how's his relationship with classmates.

U may also ask Hewitt more specific question about the school bus. Do not ask open question. Ask if it is the problem with kids, the sitting area? too long time?! on the bus?!....Or any other choices of 褓姆車in your area?

Most important of all, address & find out his problem though it maybe difficult. Call or visit the teacher la, also ask the 跟車嬸嬸see if he's any problem.

Add oil la!!!

P.S. I'm considering Kumom & Eonpi. Can U tell me more about Kumom. Just counting numbers? How many class a week & how long each time? A lot of homeworks?? Thanks.

Hi Everyone, morning...

Hewitt still have Fever, therefore he stay at home to take a rest today.

Hewitt have join the class in 公文數-learning counting numbers.  Now he improved then before.

Also, he hold the pencil is very hard.  But he like to draw the line and dots.

**Everyone, Can you help me solve the problem.  Is about Hewitt always told me he don't like go to school, i ask him many times why.  Then he didn't answer me, until this weekend he told me waiting a school bus a long time.  I'm not sure he is meaning the location is so far need to sitting in school bus around 1hr to arrive home?  But i'm not sure why he don't like ST.Catherine  before he in N1 he never told me don't like go to school.  Now what can i do??  is i need call Ms. Dom and Ms. Yeung to ask them how about Hewitt in the classroom any problem.

Audrey also doesn't tell what she needs to bring to school. But when I take a look of other threads in BK, other kids do tell their mom what to bring!

Talking about homework, it is quite difficult for Audrey to hold the pencil to draw the dots & lines. Her fine motor skill is not so well developed yet!

BTW, would like to know if you have enrolled any extra curricular activities for your kids?

Yes, Hewitt last time suddenly drop on the floor, therefore get hurt above his eyes area. Just a little bit hurt.......now he is fine....thanks.

Yesterday evening i checked hewitt's temparture a little bit fever.  So today he stay at home take a rest.  

And he very happy to told me about in his NAP Class have a few friends..Gabriel, Scott, Venus,Katy,and i don't know who is 美少女(唔知係乘坐校車or NAP class)

Everyday, keep ask him anything need to bring then he give me the answer must be nothing................

Morning Ladies

Long time no talk la.  Audrey and Hewitt are great to tell you more.  Scott didn't tell me anything but just let me know who is in the relevant table.  I also asked him what he needed to bring to school.  He told me he forgot and he didn't know.  I asked whether you needed to bring photos.  He said he forgot.  He is fine to do the homework and asked for doing it.  
BTW, how's Hewitt?  Did he get hurt?  Scott told me Hewitt's head bumped into his nose.  I don't know whether it is true or not.  >.<

I'm very busy in these two weeks.  Therefore, no time to talking with you.

Actually, Hewitt always tell me playing with Gabriel.  And last week he told me give rasberry biscuits to Gabriel but he reject to him. Becasue Gabriel don't like the biscuits have cream.......wo.hahah...........

Hewitt's like to do the homework.  

Last week when i see another kids bring some baby photo's to school, but hewitt's said nothing to bring to school.  How about yours??

Haven't got any news from both of U recently.

Audrey told me she stayed at the reading corner with Scott a few days ago and they read a book.

I also heard from other mom that Hewitt got hurt again last week at school and then leave school early, was that true? Hope everything is fine with him.

Did both of you have problem with your kid doing homework? I have. Audrey said she didn't know how to draw the dots and refused to do her homework last week. I wish she will be better this week!

Same as before, Audrey said need to bring tea-time box to school.

I picked up Audrey at school on Friday & found some kids have bought some blue toys back to school last week and that were posted on the board.

Today he sing the song (is mandarin song)but i don't know what is the name of the song.  He tell me is Ms. Yeung teach all the classmate to sing the song.

Also,me i don't know what i can prepare for him to brng to school have a tea time.  Actually, i prepare the food for him is Bread, biscuits, cake.  

I asked Hewitt today anything need to bring to school on next monday.  He answered is nothing.  How about you?
