天后校巴太貴了！

聽聞由沙田到天后要1800元，將軍澳到天后也要1400至2000元，真是太價了。我曾租旅遊巴由葵涌去海洋公園也不過約1300元，就當將軍澳去天后也要1300元吧，以每月平均上課20天計(去年上課約194天，分10個月則每月少於20天)，1300元 x 20 = 26000元，假設只有26人乘坐，每人只需1000元，坐滿56人(有些巴十可坐60人)，每人更低至四百幾，那麼為何校巴要這麼價呢？況且討論區中有指校巴已滿，要等後補。
再者，長期租用收費會更便宜，即使要過海，東隧費只收100元來回，20天共2000元，每人多付幾十元便行。是否有甚麼特別理由呢？請各位多多指教！

THANKS!  希望兩校舍合併後, 住將軍澳沿線學生更集中, 加上一年級新生, 及油價下降, 都可以穩定校車定價.

過去校車定價過高, 我估計可能因為過去油價持續上升, 開出校巴收費後很難再加價, 所以, 他們可能預早提高收費, 以彌補日後可能之損失, 如果家教會可以提出增加收費透明度, 或以較低月費加上實質燃油附加費(可加可減, 實報實消), 免除因校車公司因估計錯誤而多收費用或蝕本.

1./ the cost of school bus service from TKO to new campus (Caldecott Road)?

2./the travel time between TKO and Caldecott Road?

3./ When to get in the school bus in the morning?
e.g. 6:00 am or 6:45 am, etc. ?

Agreed. Other than the fee, it takes long time for the return route. Therefore, I'll arrange the helper to pick my kids back home directly after school.

I found a nanny bus from Ma On Shan to Tin Hau.  The pick up and drop off time is better than the schedule offered by existing bus company.  Please send me a message/pm if you have interest to join.  Thank you.

I think its too late to arrange a nanny bus for TKO to Tin Hau at this moment , may be later.
The bus company confirmed that the fee is $1600, a staff of the company told me that they need to pay for the tunnels fee, so the bus fee was reasonable, but I am still not satisfied. The tunnels fee for the two tunnel are $10 and $38, let's count it twice for return trip, it's only $96 per day, and $96X20day=$1920 per month.shared by 16 students(they used 16seat mini bus), it's only  $120 each, how come it's actually $600-$700 more than the other route?????

Afternoon route: from Tin Hau -> Cross Harbour tunnel -> Wong Tai Sin -> TKO; It takes more than 1&1/2 hour back home. That means 5:15pm.

I heard that there are more than 10 students from TKO to Tin Hau. Would it be able to arrange a nanny bus/ taxi by our own? Pls. pm to me.

Any TKO parents interested to join?
