常見問題
英文程度如何?老師與小朋友日常是否都用英文溝通?(屋企是用母語,我怕小朋友不能應對)
我諗英文程度sjc算不錯! 除中文, 普通話, 聖經外, 其餘課堂是用英文上課的. 但k1學生, 老師可能會用中英, 因為有d小朋友未ready(屋企用廣東話), 如家長要求小朋友流利英語, 我諗讀INT'L SCHOOL會岩d.

課程是深定淺?功課多唔多?
課程算深, 但大多數小朋友都跟到, 無咩問題. 功課每日一至兩版, k1功課唔會好多, 而且都會係簡單d, 如劃線、連線、填顏色等.k2開始默書, 星期一默英文生字5個, 星期三默中文生字5個.  k3上學期默書, 星期一默英文生字5個 + 1 sentence,星期三默中文 + 一句句子. k3下學期, 星期一默英文生字5個 + 2 sentences, 星期三默中文 + 兩句句子

K1面試問題, 大致如下(可選擇中文 OR 英文面試)
1) 比d圖片小朋友睇, 問吓圖片係d什麼東西。
2) 問吓小朋友叫什麼名。
3) 問吓有關colour問題。
4) 比d圖片小朋友睇, 叫小朋友找出一樣的圖片。

每年十二月敬老會活動
前兩年敬老會是在洲際酒店舉行，今年先改左去馬會。學校大概會請多過2００幾位長者去免費享用午餐。午餐期間學生會有再歌再舞既表演。我們作為家長見到自己小朋友經過老師既教導，能站在台上表演，真的很感動。同時見到老人家很開心地渡過，妳就會明白這個敬老活動是很有意義的。  如小朋友有份參與表演,家長係需要交$300作訂做表演服裝(有餘款, 會退回給家長), 表演後服裝是會交給家長.  另外家長如參與午餐, 餐券大概成人$350,小朋友$260.
- 每班會輪流帶食物返學校義賣. (家長可給小朋友二十元, 作為講買食物之用)
- 每個小朋友買一盒COOKIE送給老人家
- 自由捐獻
- GAME DAY

天才表演
大概4月尾左右舉行, 分個人/組合, 可以背詩, 朗誦, dancing, singing, magic show, play pianoetc.  每班亦會選小朋友跳舞. 如小朋友有份參與表演, 家長係需要交$300作訂做表演服裝(有餘款, 會退回給家長),表演後服裝是會交給家長.

課外活動
星期五學校有自費課外活動提供, 家長可自行決定參加與否.  種類如下 (每年可能都有唔同, 以學校通告為準)

每日茶點款式: 什菜腿絲湯螺絲粉, 老水雞膇仔, 三絲炒麵, 蒸腸粉, 咸蛋肉碎粥, 腸仔+煎蛋, 迷你牛油火煺三文治等.
(茶點 & lunch 個menu, 是貼在學校門口一個notice board 上的．自己湊返�放學就見到)

Hi all,

I am a parent of a K3 student of SJC.  Actually, it is a turth that the oval skill of my son is not as good as I expected after 3 yrs studying in SJC.  However, the writing and reading skill is still very high among all SJC students.

I have a friend whose son is at K3 2008-09. She said the class teacher at K1 was a foreigner, so he always speak english both at school & home. But K2&K3, the class&english teacher were Chinese, then he turned to speak Chinese more than English. My friend is disappointed. Is it turth? Actually, I care about it cos I choose SJC since it is good at english!!

Hello, my son is in Mickey Mouse class, anyone in Mickey Mouse?  I want to know what the children did in school.  I heard from my son that they watched Thomas, Barney and Noddy before.  Is that true?  Seems there is nothing much to do.  But I asked my son is he happy at school he said happy.

I'm really pleased to know that my son will be in the same group as your son's. It's good news to me. Up to now, my son have practised writing some letters but not yet started Chinese characters.

mcdhcpc, nice to meet you here, did u go to the orientation last Sat?  My kid will be in the Grapes group, how about u?

I didn't force my son coz I don't wanna have adverse effect.  He now practice writing everyday. I teach him once in the beginning and then I'll let him finish it on his own.  I praise and reward him every time even he didn't write very well.

Don't worry too much, my son has only practiced writing Aa-Cc, 1-8, 人口大小.
