to all Camoes parents,
i'm really aware that the application will break the record this year again....
if the candidates number is about 3500pers this year.... the % of success will be as little as 1/20 for our kid.....

1)        Normally, the school announces the overall S1 allocation results of both Chinese and Non-Chinese students.

2)        As far as I know, the following secondary schools do have French curriculum.

DBS, La Salle, St. Paul Convent, Marymount, Good Hope, PLK Ngan Po Ling and some more DSS secondary schools.

But if your child is a boy, you may have to exclude  St. Paul Convent, Marymount and Good Hope from the list.

3)        Some graduates who plan to study overseas may not be on the list as well.

I agree with you that there is no point in arguing further on this.
Parents  should be able to judge whether the results are satisfactory or not based on their own benchmark.

In view of a rather new school with such short history, personally I  reckon it is not too bad.

DSS是自行訂教學語言，如果它們不是用英語教學，是很難吸引
家長，但不代表 ''They are mostly good schools''
當然傳統那批真是唔錯，如 DBS, DGS, GOOD HOPE,
ST PAUL CO EDU, ST PAUL COLLEGE, YWC等，但新
的如 顏寶玲, 祟真, 李國寶等則有待觀察(這類應不算是
BAND ONE 學校)，家長選此類新直資原因 :
1.  學生是BAND ONE 尾BAND TWO頭
2. 小學 BAND ONE 比率不高
3. 容易入
如果一間小學很多學生入這類新直資，可能其 BAND ONE
率不高，所以家長唔搏抽籤。

you are really observant. There are 4 students newly admitted to EMI schools.

Marymount 1
True Light 2
Kwok Tak Seng 1

That makes the percentage of students admitted to EMI and DSS schools mount to nearly 80%

That has proved that our students are really competitive!

That workshop was for P4 and P5 only.
P3 kids did not receive the circular, I only saw it on school website.

呢幾個星期仔仔參加了一個campus tv workshop(好似p4, p5學生多)
這workshop請了幾位專業人士返嚟教佢地拍攝,做訪問,剪片等技巧
有記者和攝影師等等......真係好難得的機會呀
估唔到校園電视都o甘認真

In the last academic year, the S1 allocation results were announced on the school website a few days after EMB informed the results to the school.
In this academic year, such results were posted on school website the same day when  EMB informed the results to the school (i.e. July 8th).
3 days later (i.e. July 11th), we can see another update on the results on the school website and I noticed that there were  a few more graduates being admitted to Marymount and True Light + a lot more on various DSS.

Why the school posted the first results on July 8th and not wait for 3 more days to announce a more comprehensive results?
It is all to do with transparency.
Many TSL parents were so eager to know the results of this year and the school could make it very efficiently to let us know even a few days earlier.

The truth is 138 students, not 72, allocated to EMI and DSS schools. That means a large number of students had already secured a place in a DSS school before the disclosure of central allocation. The  ...
