Anyone knows whether VSA participates in the SSPA (Secondary School Place Allocation) of Education Bureau?

唔好咁無心機, 好多學校喜歡收維幼生的, 因為除左語文有一定程度之外, 維幼學生大多數合群純真開朗, 不怕表達和發問, 仲有好的家長tim。
唔係亂吹架, 真係知道d同學考出面小學鮮有一間都考唔到, 當然要報學校策略也很重要, 唔好淨係報埋d勁多人爭的spcc, St. Paul convent, DGS個類啦。
我囡囡都面試左5間, 有傳統有活動教學, 未聽佢講過有邊間考寫字同計數。

非常同意，學校叫我們去interview只係做show，有冇人知道教統回覆港同事件（如下），是否包括幼稚園升小一？

"教育局昨晚的回覆是：「一條龍學校（包括直資及私立學校），應有相同的教育理想；在課程、教學、學生個人發展等方面，都應該銜接，為學生提供連貫的學習經歷，以及做到真正的『不放棄任何一個學生』。故此，一條龍學校須全數收錄結龍小學的小六畢業生。」「而直資學校可根據校本需要，訂立適用於所有學生的升級／留級要求，並確保家長充分了解有關要求。」"

There is no need for VSA to interview the students then.

Just ask the Class teacher who can speak Putonghua will do. Also, make sure they know which parents are celebrities or school committee members.

Also no need to have Eng/Cantonese classes in victoria, as they have no concern on Cantonese.

Such a "GOOD" school policy and mgt!

我諗好多家長好似我一樣好安心以為VSA會一定收返佢D小朋友上P1所以喺維多利繼續讀埋K3點知人算不如天算!而家又要四圍撲小學!不過其他小學收生標凖同维多利亞不同!英文普通話一般傾講冇問題!但如果論寫字計數維記小朋友比較弱所以各位家長要給小朋友加緊練習!

I think this year they have many applicants since VSA's interview was held earlier than almost all the primary schools.  Some parents may treat this as an rehearsal.

When the child is got accepted, his parent is required to sign an undertaking letter which is quite harsh.  One condition is that the child has to give up applying any schools including particating in the central allocation.  If the school finds out that the child, who has submitted the signed undertaking letter , subseqnetly applies for other school, then VSA will withdraw the place.

Therefore I expect that some parents may give up the place when comes to signing the undertaking letter.  Don't worry too much.

My boy will study K3 whole day class, but he is on waiting list.

我問:「我小朋友是waiting list嘅小朋友現在情况有冇入學機會呢?因為如果收到confirm信嘅,收票都應該有齊人數!都應該知有冇一D位淨。」跟住有關人仕答我:「校長出咗trip一切要問佢先知。」我諗大家不如趁暑假操fit啲自己小朋友去見吓其他學校好過!

好學校多的是, 而維幼學生多數派位或考其他學校都頗有運, 塞翁失馬, 又焉知非福呢?

for those who are on the waiting list, what are you going to do.

I heard from the staff that 1)waiting list ~ rejecting list, 2)no example of successful admission from the so-called waiting list before 3)they have over admitted students already, even some drop out later, they won't..............
