Help!!!!Has any method to be possible to make the son to attend ESF?

My first choice is ESF and the Second choice is AIS , but has any method to be possible to make my son to attend ESF? Although he only 9 months, but any mothers can give me some
suggestions for me?Thank you very much

So I think it's just "relatively" easier not absolutely easy. Glenealy only offers 360 places and Kennedy offers 900 places. Assuming the ratio of Cat.2 students be the same, Glenealy each year only has 18 Cat 2 grade 1 students while Kennedy has 45.

actually, i lived in HK island, personally, i like american style, that's why i prefer to send my girl to american style school.. and the standard of AIS is all result from the interview, no cat 1,2 or 3...based on ESF standard i don't think she can get the chance of interview..

It sounds like you live on the Kowloon side.  Read ESF priority admission list.  It gives you an idea whether you have a good chance of getting in.  It's best to start with kindergarten.  There is only 1 ESF kindergarten for KLN people and that's Tsing Yi primary school.

I am having my son apply for ESF school and he is going to Tutortime now.  I am planning to transfer him to Anfield or ESF Tsing Yi Kindergarten for kinder.  But then, I am on priority list Category 2 because I am a ESF alumni.

The priority list tells you where you stand.  They take Cat 1 first, then Cat 2 and then other people who want to get in (like the local school system)

我地應該係kennedy school個catchment zone, 希望如你所講啦 , 佢2個都返得幾開心, 我見我大女同個miss好似friend咁, 一返到學校就走埋個miss到整古做怪, 個miss又肯同佢顛, 我諗IS同local真係好唔同, 師生關係close D, 我冇仔細研究montessori同普通教法有咩唔同呀, so far都幾滿意佢地o既表現, 所以都冇特別考究

你讀完小學都仲可能係等緊.  間間學校除左大門外, 仲有好多偏門, 後門.

其實入ESF, 最好kinder開始plan, ESF除左自己屬下kinder有interview, 有幾間kinder都係佢地既首選.  入唔到ESF kinder,  入其他有機會既kinder(不過好睇佢地既校長同esf既關係,  讀到一半換人你就煩)

據我住在港島申請2008-09 ESF P1 的朋友所講, 今年在香港島的申請者, 不在priority list 的, 讀international kinder (e.g. woodland)有得interview. 同一類的小朋友, 讀local kinder, 就冇interview. 不過呢個現象, 唔知道下年會唔會一樣.

Let your child study at ESF kinder.  You would have 100% interview chance, and 90% to get in ESF primary school.  Otherwise, your chance is very low.

that is funny, i remembered reading an ESF adverstisement in 2007 that there were immediate vacant seat for P4 in clear water bay school and the one in stubbs road and asking people to come for interview in those free morning newspaper. but not this year though.
