Just want to know if you are required to make payment of registration fees. If yes, how much is it? Many thanks.

We couldn't see the registration list during the whole period of time when we were there.  I was only given a letter of acceptance.  There I could only see my child's name on it.  During the interview, I saw a pile of application forms putting on the desk in the interview room.  Other candidates were waiting outside with their families and one of them is my child's current classmate.

As we are not very familiar with each other, there is still no chance for me to start a conversation or else I will know whether he has been accepted.

Although I have already known a few students in HKUGA, I still want to know more....

I registered today and noticed the registration list contains around 40-50 names on it and only 7-8 students registered including my son.  Think it might be because still early to deadline.

I asked for the bridging course arrangement, and the lady said it will be distributed to parents by mail later.

I have got an offer from th HKUGA last friday,
they gave me a letter for my son and register in
these few days before chinese new year.

Dear Grapes,

We received the offer immediately after the interview. I think it  was because we submited the application form so early.
As I know, my daughter's classmate with better school performance who attended the interview last saturday did not get the offer immediately. Please remenber
to wear the formal school uniform to attend the interview.

We submitted the application form very early (early October). We attended the interview before last Christmas. The vice Principal asked my daugther why she liked studying in HKUGA; why she got "C grade" in her mathemates in P5 final exam and in which language her Chinese language
conduct. He explained the student studying in HKUGA must be very ambitious and self-motivated. He also asked did we apply other DSS school. The vice Principal is very nice.I felt comfortable in the interview.

As your information, HKUGA College will only be
admitted some band 1 to band 2 of these good &
smart students? 返工媽 is that you confirmed
to give your son study in HKUGA? any others
schools did you wait for the interview?

Thank you. According to a book published in December 2007, HKUGA College admitted 60% band 1 and 40% band 2 students in 2006-07 school year.

I think my child is at the edge of band one (not doing very well) but he has taken part in quite a lot of activities i.e. sports, science, overseas study trips...  His speaking English is OK as well.

My friend's child was a band one student (a boy's school in Wanchai) while he was in P5 to P6 and now he is studying in HKUGA College.   

I really want to know more....
