聖瑪加利好...定培好?入黎討論一下!

有無家長選了聖瑪加利or培?..仔仔兩間也收...不知怎選?
兩間也是活動教學..

有人喜歡老牌學校, 貪佢夠隱陣,老師經驗夠(有d教了十幾廿年).
有人喜歡新思維學校, 走國際模式教學方法,等小朋友可以係愉快中學習, 有創意, 有表達能力.
有人喜歡有外籍學生多既學校,貪佢有良好英語環境.

st margaret 唔只注重英文, 佢舞蹈好出色, 學校裡有2位護士(不過佢無特別sale), 佢係學界水運會派了好多學生出去參與.只不過d人唔係甘了解"佢"姐!

培僑資源好, 其實都好難考(唔同前幾兩年,mud人都收),普通話好勁! d學生好細個都講到好官腔. 都無幾多間學校有甘既環境(仲有港島蘇浙都得.)

兩間都好好喎! 都有好多fans支持!

如你想仔仔中文(PTH)好些 將來多會留港升學或到內地從商,可能讀培橋好, 因培橋小學部是中文小學(數學亦用PTH上堂).不過 我有少少顧慮其英文程度是否令小學部的同學適應中學部的全英教學,及用IB學制,可否易在本港升本地大學?

SM是英文小學， 用本地學制 P4始用傳統教學，升本地大學較易，或將來到國外升學亦易適應。

一個背景是"中資" 一個是"教會",肯定"教育方法"有不同. 只是家長buy哪樣而已.

你女女真叻!  培僑較接近國際學校模式, 其實真係睇你想女女邊方面發展喇.

我就煩惱啦, 女女考浸小同培僑都落空, 而家唔知點算好.... 唉!!!

The facilities in St.M are not as good as the
neighbour school 'YW'.

PKC's facilities are much better. But the political
mission and vision may not be the same as
many parents.

Do you have further choices ???

2間學校都是新辦的學校, 但培橋的口碑較為好些, 聖瑪加利比人的感覺只注重英文, 所以如果想全面發現我個人會選培橋.

Very possible!  BUT a lot of people buy "China concept" now so for those it's ok.  A friend of mine is old boy from PK (HK side) and he hates the school.  He said even new PK (the one in Shatin now) won't be like the old one so "left-sided", it still penetrates the "left-sided" idea into it's daily studies... of course, it's his opinion only, no solid proof yet.  Anyway, China is a new China now so just take whatever fits your style (unless your kid will go to the U.S. to live in future...)

I'm facing the same problem by choosing St. M, Pui Kiu, and HKBAS, if CKY also 收埋，比你會點揀？

學校老師的建議是培僑的校外表現和資源都會比較優勝d,但是我擔心培僑讀完12年,能否考上本地大學呢? ...
