Fattymom,
My target school is KJS (it's my catchment zone). It seems many Anfield child go KJS so I think the chance is high.
Yes, the catchment zone for SJS is really big. But don't worry, I think t ...
You seem to have a good change for your daugther as she can meet friends who can talk with her and share with her. It's very nice. All family members communicate in English at home so she cannot speak Cantonese.
Although she can study in international school, better to teach her Chinese at the same time.

sks,
Thanks for your advice. I will apply another IS schools too. The worse case is to attend K3 at Anfield and re-apply ESF and local primary schools' international section next year.

By the way, my girl was very happy and excited for the first day school. She told me she met some new classmates and sang a new song which she learnt yesterday. Hope she would enjoy school life.
Just want to ask if anybody knows the chance to enrol in the Clearwater Bay School from Anfield? Because I think most of the kids from Abacus would go to the Clearwater Bay School, so kids from other kinder might be more difficult to have a successful application.
Valerie,
If your younger daughter used to speak English, it should not be a problem for her for the ESF interview. However, the catchment zone of Beacon Hill is big too.
On the other hand, you need to accept the education system of IS, it is different from local. You may need to balance between local & IS as your two daughters are studying at two education system.
My younger doesn't speak Chinese. This is the main problem to make her feel lonely and boring at the former kindergarten. Even though she was in International section, her classmates usually spoke Cantonese during rest time. She had expressed that she wanted her classmates could speak fluently English few times before. But I hoped she could build up both English and Chinese well like her elder sister who is attending same school at Junior section now. After interviewed Anfiled, she likes this school much. I have no objection for her request.
Why you change to Anfield suddenly and don't continue to finish K2 in the previous kindergarten. So many change may makes your daugther frustrated. Hope that ESF can accept your application.

My younger daughter attended K1 & K2 class at Tsung Tsin Primary & Kindergarten's International Section. I know I apply ESF Primary late. Anyway, I will try to submit the application first. According to home address, we should apply Beacon Hill School. Sorry, I haven't gotten a clear picture yet for so sudden change for my younger daughter. I think I need more information and advices from all of you.
Before your daugther go to Anfield, which school sge has studied.

My son is now 10 months old, I am planning to join Anfield Toddlerobics class when he reaches one. Will he be able to continue to study Anfield K1 if my son continues attending Anfield's playgroups. Thanks for your comment in advance.
Vickymum,
Sorry for misleading! It should be AISHK .
sks,
The connection between Anfield and KJS is very good. U're right, I think your successful rate is more than 90% .
angusbbma,
I'm not sure how often the aunties clean the toys; however, the hygiene of the school is very good. As far as I know, there is no outbreak of any flu even in the peak season. Aunties will do a thorough cleaning of the whole school area during long holidays. If u want to know more, don't hesitate to ask Elsa or Winnie, they are pleased to answer your questions
My son is now studying Anfield Saturday playgroup. I can say that the English environment is good as the whole session is taught in English with 15 minutes in Putonghua.
However, as compared with other kindergartens, I found the toy cars in playground and the other toys in the classroom are quite old. I'm wondering how often they clean those toys Any comments from other mommies
