ESF Kindergarten 是否好難入?

I want to send my now 1.5 yrs son to ESF Tsing Yi for K1 in 2008/09 (He is catergory 2). Its website says application period is coming Oct.

Can parents whose kids are accepted by ESF kindergarten share with me:

- any better chance if I send the application earlier than announced?
- if there is no interview, how ESF assesses each application cos the form requires quite basic details only?
- is competition very keen?
- what strengths do your kids have so that they can be admitted?

My son is studying in TY ESF K2. No interview required, you just download the form from the web site, fill it in and send it back. That's it. They will contact you via phone if you get the offer.
